  1. Want the Swannies to win, but am afraid the Lions will get up by a 4 goals-ish :-/
  2. hopefully swans get up and cats lose. can't stand port, cats or lions (mainly due to zorko and their [censored] against petty a few years ago).. joe is a weird unit, be funny to see him in the GF.
  3. be great if we could somehow get two mids in the top 15 and then a slider KPF/KPB between 25-40 (somehow).. just have to see what we can do with playing around with pick swaps (including next year's picks).
  4. Port vs Geelong Dogs vs Hawks Swans vs Giants Lions vs Blues
  5. @Demonland 7 players gone from this team, with Petracca *potentially* gone in the coming months and McDonald (& Melksham) gone at the end of 2025. 3 retirees (Brown, Hibberd, Brayshaw), 4 trades (Harmes, Jordan, ANB, Jackson). Question marks for me remain over Sparrow & Petty (potential trades back to S.A. in the coming years?). May & Gawn to retire in the next few years.. So much for a productive window. With not much left at Casey, I reckon we go to the Draft and try to get as many high picks as possible!
  6. from having a kick with him at the launch of the old 'new' MFC logo at yarra park, he was super nice and also had a great kick :-) in my years of players leaving (excluding gus), jesse has been the one the one that has been the most upsetting.. love how when he plays us he plays hard, but not dirty/mouthy too. respect.
  7. i wonder who else we could get in.. all for getting ex-demons back into the fold. so long as they are keen to be progressive and have gained experience from other clubs in the AFL system.
  8. if we get rid of both/one of billings and hunter, get him in. if we don't, then nahhh
  9. legend.. essential that the dees try to keep him involved in club activities as much as possible. would be a great wellbeing officer.
  10. have you considered that with our first rounder for next year, as well as any compensation that we would get for petty, we could get a tall forward to join the club?..
  11. i mean, in saying that, if we take him with our first, jason taylor and the recruiters have done it for a reason.. i just can't see it. also be shocked if we took a mid sized caddy. need more midfield class and skilled KPPs (o'sullivan, et al).
  12. i realise that its unfair and definitely illogical, but i can't help but compare duursma with his brother, who can be great, but is also super flakey..especially after his first season or two. it looks as though the new version is in a class above, but still, from the online games that i watched, not sure that he is what we need right now.. looks more like a pick from 10 on. i'd be happy to land duursma at our second pick, but not our first.
  13. I have a strange feeling we're gonna land McKercher.. Not sure how, but I reckon that we might be making moves for him. Heard nothing, just a vibe mannnn..
  14. yep Steve, we should've...but we didn't. let that burn.
  15. stating the bleeding obvious, but we need talented players by foot going inside 50 as much as we need a tall forward..
