I agree with the topic but another thing I have been seeing is the lack of conversion of our inside 50's being overseas it is hard from the telly to see how we are set up, but I really think that last kick in is costing us. I do acknowledge the argument we get a fair bit of repeat inside 50 from scrambled play with the forward line already flooded. But with good users of the footy like salam, watts, lewis and CP5 it woudl be good to have that conversion of inside 50 to goals. I just looked up the stats and it was not as clear cut as I hoped, but I think the conversion to inside 50 to the scoreboard is a problem with the present set up. I think we are struggling to run out quarters. The swarm and spread to/from the contest looks great early on but over the last few weeks we are conceding red time goals that are costing us. And we are dead on our feet in the last few minutes of quarters. This week didn't help having a few major and few minor injuries.

I dont start many topics and more of a voyeur than participant, but after the game yesterday I am buoyed with belief. But I have been thinking about our kids and what I feel they need to move fore good to great. Hunt - Love his speed, but would love him to connect that big kick after a run to a forwards advantage Track - Right now I think he needs a bit of confidence taking a set shot O Mac - To become more of a competitive beast Clarry - He has super hands, but must learn to trust his kick to become more damaging Stretch - Would be great if he had a vice like tackling prowess The composer aka Wagner - to become the composer of the back line and direct play with his left foot Hogan - to sign his name on Melbourne letterheaded legal papers - that will make him a great player for mine I am sure there is more, feel free to add. What is the one thing that will make our kids (and even our established ones) make that next step.
