  4. i too was very surprised he got the cut.. and again il be perplexed if he isn't picked up again.. i really do hope we are atleast talking to him!?

  6. Tom Gillies is a massive unit too! wow no more skinny rakes! add in oliver wines too and its hard not to get excited why we wont be pushed off the ball so easily.. Big Dawesy is already a big fine specimen
  7. http://www.aflphotos.com.au/galleries/results/?q=collection:AFL 2012 Training - Melbourne 141112&image_id=272692 photos of todays training sesh and big dawsy!
  8. Does this mean we now have 3 live picks in the national draft?
  9. Would replace jared rivers you would think??
  10. Heard today that former cat backman is training with us?
  11. http://www.gettyimages.com.au/Search/Search.aspx?contractUrl=2&language=en-US&family=editorial&p=melbourne+demons&assetType=image&ep=2# For anyone who wants to check out some pics from fridays sesh. Hogan is a beast already! once he actually fills out properly yikes watcch out...!! Pedersen is a big unit too. will add alot to our forward line. Jack Viney and david rodan look in great nick as is shannon byrnes and mitchy clark.
  12. To be honest all he needs is a decent Dave Mission Pre season( didn't do any last year) and be fit and firing for round one atleast! no more injuries during pre season games!!!
  13. Im actually very surprised we kept couch..
  14. We are good family friends with alipate carlile and i spoke to him last week when he was in wang and i asked about rodan. Said he is one of the most dedicated and professional player at the club. Sets the tone at training and especially in the gym as you can tell by the size of his arms! also said that he leadership skills are second to none and will be a massive mentor to our younger group. after hearing this i thought he is on par as one of the best recruits with mitch clark. May not be in game day but his off field work, training, leadership..mentor role. Fits mark neelds calibre of changing our culture and setting the bar skye high! And after meeting rodan personally after my time spent in SA with Alipate i can tell you he is one of the best bloke you could ever meet. always a smile on his face, takes the time for the fans and loves a good old chat.
  15. i wonder if dom barry and jack viney will start training today? if so you would think it would be a massive advantage to the other new draftees that will come in late november as they will have the extra 3 weeks
  16. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7415/newsid/150331/default.aspx Confirmed he will be playing Forward/ Ruck. Sounds excited too! The bloke can seriously play but Brad Scott opted to play spud Hansen instead of him this year which got alot of north supporters bewilded.. they really rated this bloke very highly! Talking to a mate who is a north supporter last night and he said he shatterd they are trading him off. Said what you will get with pedo is Workrate workrate workrate!! he is a one touch grab with a bit of x factor too. He kicked 8 goals in a VFL game last year too which is a veiw into what he could become for us.
  17. Thats why we have byrnes and rodan.
  18. I think its a fair assesment on jack. Needs to lift his intensity to another bar and increase his workrate. im sick of accecpting these pissy little games against bottom sides getting useless possesions across half back. I too have high expectations on jack next year and hope he goes into top gear...
  19. YEEEEWWW!! The might D rod! stoked for this pick up not only is same heritage as me but he will bring terrific leadership and will set the tone at training, as he was one of the hardest and most dedicated trainers at port. Will bring much needed pace zip and grunt plus a bit of x factor too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78FCod5g1_c&feature=related
  20. Stevens now officially a bulldog.
  21. [media=] if pedersen can split packs like he did in this clip then he will compliment clark and dawes just wel
  22. beat me to it TP, i wouldn't mind prismall but the fact is he has never played for then 15 games due to aalot of injuries. if he could become injury free he would be a bargain as he wins alot of the ball.
  23. If rivers leaves sellar will take his spot.. did a great job down there.
  24. Well said..!! i dont remmeber us being so aggressive during the daniher and bailey years!
  25. Welcome Dawesy! spoke to a mate of fine who plays for collingwood recently and i asked him about Dawes. He said that he was a top bloke that was very well liked in the group. Has a good head on his shoulder and fantastic leadership qaulitys that will be a massive tick for the dees. said that it will be sad to see him go as he is actually very highly rated amongst the playing group.. A few of the players are actually a bit shitty at bucks for the decision to trade him off as they think he is still very valuble to the team. A good get! Ps i wanna make love to Mark Neeld.
