He's a fantastic character who's one of the most hard working and dedicated guys going around with a team first attitude. An absolute workhorse. He's also a ripping fella who's done a lot for the AFL community in general. Talk about bringing in people to help shift the culture and standards, well Tommy will certainly help, especially with our younger players. Gawny isn't getting any younger, he'll need a decent chop out next year and part of me doesn't see him getting through the year again without injury. This is whether Campbell will be able to come in if need and play his role. He smashed it in the VFL this year and his numbers were elite so worse case is that he's making Casey a whole heap better.

He's contracted to the Melbourne Football Club first and foremost. I highly doubt as part of of his ambassador role with Red Bull that it would be part of his deal that he needed to attend every single camp, every single year. There are thousands of elite athletes all over the world that are red bull ambassadors. Think about their professional schedules, there is no way some are able to travel all across the world to attend a camp. Some simply wouldn't have the time. And I highly doubt a professional sporting club like Melbourne would cater an event based around one individual. Events aren't organised based around what's best for certain individuals.

Spargo got drop a few times in 2023 which means he didn't play the wing role to any good effect. If you want him around the midfield then it's an inside mid where he excelled in his junior days.
