  1. Had a bit to do with him through the bushies. Came through with the likes of Clayton Oliver and Josh Schache. Absolute man mountain in terms of his physical presence. Very Lloyd Meek like. Probably very similar to Meek in the way that he plays. He works hard both ways and can take a good contested grab at times. Bit of a journeyman, came through with the Shepparton Bears then transitioned to VFL level where he had some stints with Werribee playing as a CHB. Made the move to Norwood where he's played primarily as a ruckman and has dominated. Very proud to see how much he's improved and hope he gets a shot at it because he's a genuinely good bloke and an incredible hard worker.
  2. Was brought up in mid week tackle as a name to keep an eye on potentially.
  3. Lalor expected to miss 8-10 weeks with his hammy.
  4. Can someone post the part about Melbourne..
  5. According to Sam Edmund, Melbourne "have a level of interest" in Membrey. Said we can't rule it out as of yet but we've definitely been in conversations with Membrey.
  6. Oh dear......
  7. He'd be a good fit for our team dynamic but he's not a real priority at this stage.
  8. Gotta be a pisstake surely..
  9. Can someone post article..
  10. So now we have an official external review, has anyone checked in on @Satyriconhome??
  11. This is the guy that will be conducting the review. Worth the watch.
  12. I would not be surprised if 'change' leads to the playing list. @goodwindees latest news on Oliver makes total sense.
  13. Have you seen their doco on Netflix? Amazing content..
  14. Oliver has been missing all year and Cameron has pretty much been given the best defender since he was 19. Oliver has struggled with the tag all year, and please don't give me the injury excuse. Oliver's last two years has been poor. That's a combination of his own discretion due to his off field behaviour and [censored] poor preparation and then not listening to the medicos around managing his hammy issues. We're paying this guy a ridiculous salary and so far he hasn't performed remotely close to that expectation. If you do a poll to neutral supporters who'd they take out of Cameron or Oliver I can guarantee 98% of the public would take Cameron. He is a genuine superstar of the game and it's ridiculous how he's still performing at an elite level at 31 years of age. That comes down to being the ultimate professional and elite preparer every single year.
  15. Was listening to triple M yesterday and Jay Clark and Damo Barrett stated the following • Kate Roffey is the first of a few changes. One of those big changes is Gary Pert also being pushed out potentially. • Steven Smith is pretty much in the box seat to be our next president. Will be going on a much needed holiday in the next couple of weeks after negotiating some pretty big business deals and may be announced in the back end of the year. • Trac and Goodwin caught up at a Cafe in Armadale on Thursday and by all reports it was a positive one for both parties.
  16. Jay Clark on triple M yesterday stated that Caleb Daniel is a "massive chance" to be at the Dees next year.
  17. Exactly, you pay to watch them play, not interact with them. Let them entertain as they're paid to do. When you attend a free training session you're entitled to absolutely nothing. They're there to do a job and that's to train and improve as a professional athlete. You'll get the Jack Watts and Colin Sylvia's of the world who'll naturally go out of their way to interact with fans but not everyone is wired that way nor should they be forced to. This is what Family days, player sponsorship and cooperate events are for.
  18. And Jeremy hasn't? The guy kicked 62 goals in his second year of the competition as a 19 year old. Cameron is one of, if not, the most consistent players in the competition and is still at his absolute best at the current age of 31 years of age. He's already kicked 62 goals for the year and doesn't look like slowing down anytime soon. Give me Jeremy Cameron everyday of the week.
