Certainly a developing ruckman who's got genuine upside and has been dominating in the Coates League. Big imposing lad who's gets around the ground well and wins the footy. Not only that, he gets in and gets his hands dirty by laying tackles and doing the one percenters. Certainly a Jason Taylor type pick.

Amazing some on here see are saying he's 'soft' and 'Jack Watts' mk 2 purely because they've seen the way he's built and style or play. You can tell not many have actually taken the time to watch him play. He kicked 39 goals last year just in the home and away season. I agree wholeheartedly and have been very vocal about this in the past. We've been so fixated in going after raw ex basketball athlete's that have little to no football IQ and it shows in these VFL performances. No more Bradtke's and the Farris-White's of the world. I am in no way being critical of our recruiting team because they've got the credits in the bank, but I think if we are wanting to get developing talls through, put the attention into one's that are also genuine footballers like Will Verrall who looks like a solid prospect that will play games this year.

He'd struggle to get a kick in the Essendon District Football League at senior level. He's not even a footballer. A guy that was plucked through basketball footage and a few athletic trial testing.
