In all honestly the father son combo just wouldn't work at all. Denis Pagan left the roos because of all the up roar and politics that went against him when he had his son on the Roos list. Not all players will see eye to eye in this situation. From what I been told Todd Viney is really enjoying his current job as we speak.

I dont get this but. Clubs aren't just allowed to interview assistant coaches during the season I think thats part of the coaches association rule. They would have to wait till the end of the year for interviews. I also highly doubt the Dockers would have a Melbourne assistant coach in the box. Mick Malthouse gave Neeld the flick as soon as he was named senior coach.

O Meara, Prestia are two who I think going to be superstars.

Roosy is treating him like a first year player. If we were a Hawthorn or Geelong we would be laudingnon how Toumpas is developing just fine at Casey. But because we have so much relied on our first round draft picks to make an instant impact straight most supporters are ingrained that these kids will carry us and make an impact straight away. Thats not proper development. Earn your spot in the twos, make good habits, Play consistent footy in the twos and continue to learn as much as you can from your coaches.

Sylvia, Mclean, Morton Scully were all affected by poor coaching and development. Trengove aswell but injury has halted him a bit aswell. Toumpas is doing what he should have last year and thats developing in the twos. I cant wait to see what Roos will do to Trenners and Toump.I think we just need to back our coaching staff on this one this time. Go through the draft and get Petracca and Brayshaw. I could see Petracca making an instant impact up forward for us straight away.

Im in the boat of not trading our draft picks. Those two guys will set up our midfield for the next 10 years. Both powerful inside mids who can go outside aswell. A midfield of Tyson, Viney, Jones, Toumpas, Stretch, Cross, Vince with Petracca and Brayshaw would net us a couple more wins next year.You could build a formidable midfield around those along with Tyson and Viney. I think getting ROK would be very important. I thought on the weekend Cross left a massive hole in our midfield in terms of experience and ball winning ability. This where someone like O' Keefe would have been handy replacement.

Ok first of all you were referring to Toumpas. You have made it know to the whole of demonland your hatred towards him and the footy club for picking him. Dont act like a little 4 year old and pretend your weren't referring to him because you were captain obvious. Second. Of course those guys were important. Its all part of the BALANCE. You need both. We have a couple of inside mids but no outsiders. A midfield should not be made up of just inside on ballers. Every tom dick and harry know that except you simpleton. I And last all clubs make recruiting blunders. Go ask Hawthorn Sydney Collingwood etc. You have this complete fantasy of just going after inside mids and nothing else. This shows you are clearly clueless and very out dated.

Wow because he is skinny and plays outside you automatically presume his career will exactly turn out like Toumpas.. Your unbelievable PK. You know absolutely nothing about football and this proves it. You dont just load up on inside mids just because of the sake of it! You need a balance of players. You need inside mids but you need outside just as much as inside. Look at guys like Hill and Smith from Hawthorn. Both played critical role in last years Grand final win. Steele Sidebottom and Dale Thomas in their premiership win. Heck Sidebottom was close to winning the NS medal that. Keep embarrassing your self old timer. I get a good laugh out of it.

I have absolute faith in him that he will no doubt turn this club around. Its already working.
