2015 Player Review - # 8 Heritier Lumumba

I know this bloke copped it a bit from Fans but go to the MFC website and his interview with Burgs is absolutely brilliant.. Talks about his love for the club and player unity something he never experienced at Collingwood. He also pumps up our young talent big time. It really is worth having a look. Personally i still think he can play an important role for us next year. Hopefully this year was more of getting used to our system and wil flourish next year. -

The only game he played full time midfield was against WB when Dom Tyson was out. He absolutely dominated! I still remember now he ran through packs like a raging bull and put enormous pressure and tackling around the contests. He was a man possessed! Can't wait till he builds his tank. He will be an absolute beauty! -
2015 Player Review - # 38 Jeremy Howe

According to SEN Howe is meeting with Collingwood today. -
Actually go and watch his under 18s video.. its actually quite bad! LolBut it also proves how hard he has worked to get to where is now. Probably skinnier then what Jack Watts was and is now one of the beast midfielders of the competition.

He's overseas mate.
-
Mate he is going to Geelong. Is it too hard to take it on face value that the guy even says at his best and fairest night he wants to go to Geelong.
-
Could have told some on here that. But according to demonland we are still with a chance...

Delistings/trades at end of the season
dazzledavey36 replied to Northern Summer's topic in Melbourne Demons
LOL you are incredibly out of touch. They brought in those guys for instant success. They will be gone either next year or the year after. You named 2 kids who are probably the next batch of up and coming youngsters.. The rest aļl had serious injuries that could distrupt their development. Who is their next ruckman after Goldstien? Or their next key forward after Petrie? Do they have an emerging backman after Thompson? They are finished in 2 or 3 years time. -
Delistings/trades at end of the season
dazzledavey36 replied to Northern Summer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Absolutely There is not an up and coming young gun at North in the same Vein as Hogan Brayshaw Salem etc.. Infact all of their 2014 draftees were all hit with season ending injuries half way through the year.. not good indeed -

Suck sh it to him and his management. -
I just want him to get through a whole year without any knee issues first and see where he is at before we start claiming him the 2nd coming of christ. I think its fair to say our expectations on Hogan were pretty similar in terms of getting through with no issues to his body. But its also should say Hogan is seriously a once in a generation player after his first year.. Is Petracca that? Whos knows.

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet but Mark Stevens said on Gameday that Howe is basically gone, and pretty much on his way to collingwood. If that was the case what would people want in return? Seedsmans? Freeman, Kennedy or maybe just a 2nd round pick. -
And you'll be the first to want him delisted the moment he has a bad game.Your way too predictable.
-
If Danger was 22 i would say absolutely yes offer him the deal but danger will be 26 next year.. by the time we are pushing for finals or top 4 he will be 28 or 29.. I would honestly offer that deal to Jeager O'Meara with massive due diligence on his body first.

I take facebook rumours with a gran of salt but on one of the MFC forum pages some guy who claims to live with Buggs cousin just mentioned that it is a done deal and signed a contract. Whether some believe it or not its up to you but thoughts on Bugg. Personally i dont mind this as he plays midfield and down back and sometimes a tagging role which he does quite well. Only 22 with already 60 games experience so real upgrade on Michie Newton Riley who all came in with barely any games played. -
Bizzare comment.. Hasn't even tasted AFL action and already silly expectations like this are already placed on the poor kid.

Don't mind Tommy Bugg. Can play as a tagger but also win the ball himself. -

Lets not forget this mid missed all the pre season due to dislocating his knee twice. So to come out and play 11 games is a credit to him and our medical staff.- 35 replies
