Im not deriding Hunt at all. I'm only speaking of what the reality and truth is and that is, Jayden Hunt was simply poor by foot. He had everyone you wanted in a modern footballer except he would butcher the footy coming out of defence, pure and simple I liked Hunty more then anyone and thought he was the most unluckiest player in 2021. Had it not been for that ankle injury late, we'd be lauding him as a premiership player.

Time to keep a closer eye on Archie. Made his reserves debut yesterday for West Adelaide and had 26 disposals and 11 marks. This is off the back of two straight week of 36 disposal game against Norwood and backed it up with a 38 disposal game a week later.

I'm fine with where he was picked. But I beg to differ about his kicking. It's poor in my opinion. On effective disposal so far in his career hes rated as 'below average' thats including last year. He has time on his hand but history will say it can be difficult to turn a poor kick into a good one.

He displays run. His kicking is poor. This isn't hard to see. Right now, its on par with Jayden Hunt who was horrible by foot. Hopefully Windsor can I.prove on that.

These are the numbers below. I agree its aren't linear but its a roughly a good guide. I still have the up most faith in JVR that he can be our number one key forward in years to come. Like any young key forward hes going through a slump due to a combination of our poor delivery and forward connection as as well his limited game time and using him as a 2nd ruck. My belief in JVR is that he needs to be left in the senior team. alongside Jefferson for the rest of the year so they continue to gain the experience and forward synergy required as a partnership.
