Farewell Jesse Hogan
Based on what form? The bloke was dropped a week after his 150th game. He's not an All Australian, has finished top 5 in the BnF just once in his career, every coach he has had in his career has dropped him. And then went off to Port and stunk it up there aswell.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Got unders for Watts!?? Kidding yourself mate, this is the same Jack Watts that was told to pull his head in last year only to then get dropped! We trade him for a 2nd rounder pick which then gets us Fritsch who is a future gun in the making and already showed me this year then Watts ever did. Oh and did i say that even Port dropped the lazy and pea hearted in Jack Watts this year? If anything, we got a bargain.

Thanks Cameron Pedersen
Loved pedo! All the best mate to you and your family! How good was last year when he shouldered the main rucking role for us.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
We had the golden opportunity to take Oscar McInerney with our 1st pick in the rookie draft, only to then overlook for for none other then Lachie Filipovic ?♂️ Had a great debut year this year with 16 games and kicked 14 goals as a ruckman/forward giving Stef Martin a chop out.
-
Who do we realistically target for a trade?
He would be very very handy.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Its fairly certain Filapovic and King will get delisted. So its no shock that we're now chasing a mature ruckman to help out Gawn. And its not like its unknown ruckman, its someone whos dominated at VFL level and shows the same similar traits to Shane Mumford. I would not also be surprise that after picking up Pruess, we then recruit a mature age ruckman from state league just to have as an insurance and one that will handy in the VFL also.

What could have been.. Stuart Dew.
Real insight into the inner details of trying to get Stewy Dew to the club as Roosy's successor. Only to turn down the offer and pave the way for none other then our beloved coach Simon Goodwin https://coupler.foxsports.com.au/api/v1/article/amp/afl/afl-finals-2018-the-sliding-doors-moment-in-a-secret-melbourne-board-meeting-that-led-to-simon-goodwins-new-role/news-story/3a3e4c782e916091e0c4a8df3df5b7d0?__twitter_impression=true

Match Preview and Team Selection - Preliminary Final
I didn't realise they were the same height until Pro mentioned it. My only worry is Darling might be too strong for Smith one on one. But im backing our defenders to give him a chop out and also think Smith athleticism will match right up to Darling. On a side note good to see you back mate! I was starting to get worried that i might not find anyone one to reduce my ANB melts from time to time ??

Match Preview and Team Selection - Preliminary Final
1. Smith will take Vardy. 2. Salem on Ryan. 3. Jetta on Rioli And Hibberd will go to LeCras, leaving Lewis as our general quarter role. Oscar will take Darling who has the endurance levels to keep up with him. Do not underestimate Josh Kennedy on one leg. Regardless of what the media says, he is a bona fide star forward and this will be one Frost biggest challange ever. Shut him and limit their forward supply entrie and we'll win the game. Just on Joel Smith in regards to a few comments on him coming into our side on the back of 6 disposals at VFL level. I will absolutely bet every single dollar that Goodwin and McCartney could not give a flying [censored] about how many disposals he gets. If he comes out of tomorrow's game will 1 handball and shuts down Vardy then his done his role in my eyes and the coaches. Hes not there to win 20 plus possessions off a half back. Thats why we have Lewis, Salem and Hibbo down there doing that because they are our best distributors, and Smith's role will be to defend first, and then attack 2nd by offering a bit of run but also getting the ball into these guys hands. He is still pretty raw, but he also shows fantastic defensive traits and power with his speed and tackling. It's no wonder he is so highly rated by our coaching staff. The biggest test for him will be not to be overawed by the occasion. Backing him all the way! Good luck Joel!

Match Preview and Team Selection - Preliminary Final
This. He looks and plays tired.. 1st half to mid half of the year he was by far our cleanest player. But towards the end he's just started to look tired and his game day performance and kicking skills have deteriorated significantly the past few weeks. Smith is not in the side for his clean kicking skills, thats for Salem, Lewis and Hibberd. Hes in the side for added height and his giant leap and marking ability to defend their tall forwards. Goodwin and co know what they're doing.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Preliminary Final
The last few games before injury Joel Smith was showing some really good intercept marking across half back. I really hope he rediscovers that on the weekend. This is also a chance to free up Hibberd in a way who had his hand full last week with the taller Jack Gunston. Opportunity for hibbo to now play on the smaller LeCras instead of Vardy now.
