I started supporting the Dees in 98 and even then i loved the Ox.. its only been since youtube has become popular that I've now realised what an absolute superstar he could have been hadn't it been for those injuries. I'll never forget the 2000 grand final when he was the only one to stand up and tear shreds of essendon players for what they did to Simmonds and Green. On record publicly ever since saying how much he hates them.

The way he carried on after last years win against us was simply uncalled for and childish. Therefore he can enjoy whatever success collingwood get over the sideline. As someone mentioned before.. i actually feel more sorry for Bernie Vince and Jesse Hogan..

His destiny was in his own hands and given ample amount of opportunities but he just didn't grab it. I was a Watts fan, but reality is he coasted all the way to his 150 games.. He would not get a game in our side right now.

Lets be serious though.. The way our half forwards crash and tackle with such high intensity, there is no way Jack Watts would have fitted into that forward line at all. There is a pattern in the Simon Goodwin game style this year and hence why Jeff Garlett has struggled this year. Even Fritsch for someone so skinny will courageously fly across packs and go for those marks. I look at someone like Sam Weideman yesterday and some of his tackling and pack marking was something i never saw from Jack Watts at all from his career. He would not have been in our best 22 yesterday.
