  1. Whats your thoughts on Devon Robertson mate? I didnt get a chance to watch his game today but has been impressively consistent throughout the champs.
  2. Veey likely even if we have a pick 5 to 7.. I expect the likes of Anderson, Rowell, Serong, Young, Kemp to all feature around the top end mark.
  3. RSN Breakfast Club @RSNBreakfast "Melbourne are quite keen to talk to him about a potential role for next year." Julian de Stoop says the Dees are coming for Brendon Bolton #RSNBreakfastClub Yep! I like this a lot! He was highly regarded at hawthorn for his development and positive relationship with the players.
  4. Have watched Ash a couple of times with the bushies as i am back doing some work for their under 16 developments squad. He is a beauty, plays across half back and puts his speed to good use. Ability to set up from half back but also rebound and intercept are quiet elite. Next stage for his development is transitioning towards more midfield exposure. Very driven individual who shows fantastic leadership (named co-captainfor Vic Country) and maturity beyond his years.
  5. Yeah lets bring in an already injury prone player to add to our list of players we have going. ??‍♂️
  6. This. I'll take this concern from and Elite Performance Manager over any regular track watcher.
  7. No mate, why should i read yours when ypu didn't even read mine back a couple of posts? I clearly said our issue right now is all atitude. I even put the numbers of our lack of tackling pressure from our starting mids against brisbane. Something we have built our game on and we got completely torn to shreds in that category. Whether we have mentally checked out or not something is not right up stairs.
  8. Wait... Weren't we told on here during the summer that our players weren't having an interrupting pre season??
  9. These were the starting midfield that spent the most time in the midfield in center bounces and around the ground. Martin, Lyons, Zorko, Neale McCluggege all combined for 27 tackles for the day. Gawn, Viney, Oliver, Brayshaw, Harmes all combines for just 13 Tackles..
  10. Cale Morton
  11. That to me shows its an attitude issue right now. To lay 2 tackles for an entire quarter is absolutely disgraceful. Brings back haunting memories of the Mark Neeld days.
  12. I saw the Lewis interview and immediately thought of these 3 ..Brayshaw, Harmes, Oliver. All 3 played Hollywood style football on the weekend and only ran one way.
  13. Why? It's a spained ankle mate.. 1 to 2 weeks off and he'll be fine. Its not like hes broken a bone or done any ligament damage.
  14. Since the great Chris Lamb
  15. Lets talk draft now.. Players to keep an eye our for this weekend. AFL under 18 championships 2019: Final chance for young guns to star on the big stage
  16. Agree with you on this highlighted area 100% the 1st two round draft picks for Lever was in my opinion bizzare.. i would have easily been happy with 1, but the fact we gave up 2 was a mistake. Im excited that we'll have a top 5 pick this year because there are some seriously talented young players in the top 10 this year. Anderson, Ash, Kemp, Serong are names to keep an eye out for. Experienced mentors of names I'd look at is, Brad Scott, Alan Richardson (if he gets the chop) Mathew Knights, Michael Voss, Brett Ratten, Nigel Lappin, Blake Carecella.
  17. Max Gawn was on crutches this morning and was going in for a scan. In doubt for this weekend. Brayden Pruess will play this week by the sounds of it.
  18. The Steven May suggestion up forward is an interesting one. I remember i watched his under 18s game live for Northen Territory back in 2009 at Marvel Stadium. He was playing as a full forward and he was charging out and splitting packs in the same way as our very own David Neitz. I walked away thinking i just witnessed a future superstar power forward in the making.
  19. They legit wont trade him after re-signing him. Yes contracts work in a funny way but they simply wont do it. If he is in this position in 2 years time when he is OOC then yes lets look at it. Weideman aint going anywhere.
  20. Agree.. saw signs from the Collingwood practise match of his downfall. I think this is where i feel maybe we go back to having Jayden Hunt as our running defender. Hibbereds dash is brcoming minimal and we need someone other then Frost to provide more run.
  21. Not enoufh appreciation for Nathan Jones. I thought with him and Salem were our best ball user off half back. If he keeps this form up i can see him turning into a Jarred McVeigh type for us off half back.
  22. Yep. Reminds of when Richmond had the dream run of barely having anyone on their injury list back in 2017.
  23. Maybe not kick and scream like many of you are doing. We need to make changes yes, start with the coaches. Get in some experience heads like Blake Caracella or Nigel Lappin. Both have coached at premiership clubs and would be a great sound board for Goodwin. Now look at these names and get some perspective for once, Brayshaw, Petracca, Harmes, Salem, Lever, Oliver, Weideman, Frost, Fritsch, Hore, Baker, Lockhart. All of these guys are still under 100 game mark. In fact none have hit even 90 games yet. What that shows is we are still a young and inexperienced side Viney is pur only on baller who hasiver 100 games experience. Next year the core group of our midfielders will hit that 100 game mark which is where we start to see the growth development and ripe time of where peaking period begins We need to add more experience depth. Look at what the lions did in the off season. They went and grab two experienced players in Lachie Neale and Jarryd Lyons to add to there thin on ball unit and now its paying dividends. RiRichmond it back in 2016 after a horror year when they added Prestia, Caddy and Nankervis. All 3 played a huge part in their premiership win. Geelong did it in the off season by adding Rohan and Dahlhouse. If we can add a Langdon, another Jarryd Lyons or Josh Caddy type player to go along with our top 5 pick to our list, get full preason out of May, Lever, Viney, McDonald etc then me personally i can see significant improvement. Our game plan needs fixing over the off summer. We are getting so much ball inside our forward 50 but simply not connecting with our forwards. That needs to be rectified plain and simple. We also need Lever, May and Frost to play all 22 games together next year. If we have Lever and May fit and healthy then it goes a long way to being successful.
  24. And the same nuffies that start these kind of threads will start one in 5 years time saying we need a big clean out because these draftees haven't worked out also ?
  25. This is [censored]! A 19 year old player that had nothing to do with todays game and yet still gets canned on here. Step up a bit mods and get rid this troll
