I have no doubt the contract was signed yesterday in private and then announcement this morning. Every journo around the country yesterday were pretty saying it was a done deal, just waiting for the announcement on an official capacity. Even the statement released by Green and Tim Lamb. That isn't a spur of the moment thing that was created this moment, these would have been carefully drafted yesterday. It's all about timing and the MFC have timed this beautifully well.

Putting aside what you think of him as a commentator, he's carved up a fine career in the media space. Did his best work as a footy show host as well as the Triple M Saturday Rub team. He is just behind Gawn and already surpassed Petracca as our most influential Melbourne player on field in my personal opinion. Statically wise Kozzie was doing more then Petracca at the exact same age of 23. Scary.
