No Sir i understand history of a football club quiet well. I have played at football clubs that a performance that has happened back in the 80s or early 2000s has no bearing at all on our todays game day performance, none. Nor have our coaches rammed anything down our throats about whats happened back in the past. I could not give two [censored] what happaned back in those days. Me and 22 other blokes only care on how we perform as a team right now moving. So again, a history or past has NO effecton current day performance week in week out.

Mate half our playing list wasn't even alive when all this went down.. yet somehow its all connected to our current playing group..? I'm sorry, how does that even work??

Dont understand this at all. Petty kicks 3 goals and takes a dozen marks and provides a target and yet you want him dropped. Hannan spend 82% on the ground doing ABSOLUTELY nothing and runs around like a headless chook for 3 disposals for the whole game and you want to persevere? Yuk.. Continue to get games into a talented 19 year old key tall or a 25 year half forward who has done legit nothing for 3 weeks straight. Sorry but Petty stays. Hannan has been a joke. I watched the whole VFL game. Twice in the game Oscar got outmarked easily by a 185cm no name.. at that level with 71 games of AFL experience he should be eating up those VFL forwards. Personally in my opinion i dont think he has shown much improvement over the years. Its quite obvious why the club went and chased Lever and May. With Lever, May, Frost and Hore all up and running where does Oscar fit in all this?

Did i say they have trade value? A club like Carlton and Gold Coast would give up 3rd round picks for these type of players. Adelaide or Port might look at a home grown boy like ANB for instance. I'd even grab a 4th rounder at best for each.

The likes of Hore, Baker, Lockhart, Petty have all shown they have what it takes ro succees at AFL level. I think Petty will be a beauty, and thats not off the back off yesterdays game. He reads the play well and has a really goos kick on him. Just needs to add muscle over the summer. Not enough credit has gone to Lockhart. The bloke has played 11 games on the back of working as a labourer and having no AFL pre season at all. I would think with what he has shown so far his upside is quite high. Baker should be playing instead of Neale Bullen. If the club was smart then you put a line across Alex Neale Bullen and Oscar McDonald and look at trading these guys out. JKH, Wagners, Keilty, Maynard, TSmith will all be delisted. Stretch to stay on a 1 year deal.

Overrated? So he fluked the whole thing? He is going through what every other gun player go through in their career and thats a form slump. This is a huge learning curve for him. I would not trade him. But he looks like he has mentally checked out. Some have short memories, at his best last year Brayshaw was up there with one of the best midfielders of the game. Needs a HUGE pre season to get his mind back on task.

Ok i will start with the positives; - Petty was great up forward. Some good strong marks and a accurate kick for goal. If the coaching staff were smart, they would train him in the forward groups during pre season. - Felt lik the Gawn/Preuss worked well. Preuss was close to clunking those marks up forward. I would play these 2 for the rest of the year. - I actually thought Petracca played well along with Hunt. -Lockhart did a good job on JJ -Good to have Lever back. - This is not so much a positive but i didnt mind Fritsch playing on around his body. Thinking he was just trying to get a quick goal so we could still have enough time. Btw he looked good up forward for once.. who would have thought? Negatives: - Alex Neale Bullen is by far the biggest joke of a footballer. i have been calling this since last year and got shut down. He KILLS momentum with his diabolical disposal and always fumbling and loaing his feet. Needs to be traded at years end. After watching Casey today, Baker or Wagner has to come in for this plonk. - Did Hannan even play? Go back to Casey and stay there. - Jetta.. I'm sorry but you are officially cooked. Poor poor decision by Goodwin to rush him in. I would have rather a fit Josh Wagner out there playing. - Brayshaw, Oliver, Harmes. Definition of AFL footballers who are loving the lifestyle and bright lights of being an AFL player. Lazy, arrogant and simply refusing to work hard both ways.
