  1. Yep, Kozzy is showing the traits of an early Aaron Davey with some of his evasiveness. Looks good in that #36
  2. This reminds me of his uncle Byron Pickett when he use to stream out of half back back in his North hey day... Would just burst through packs with ball in hand and set up play. No one could get near him...
  3. Could easily have kicked 3 goals on the night. If he had nailed those shots we would have lauded what a full performance it would have been. I can see him going berserk in a game next year where he kicks about 3 or 4 goals in a quarter and turns it on. Still so much developed to go, but he's coming along just fine.
  4. Yes, I'm a big a fan of Lonie. Problem is I read the other day that Doggies in the box seat to land him.
  5. Its looking like so. This also means we are still after a small forward to compliment Pickett. What other options are out there??
  6. Because he is an A grade nuffy. See for yourself.
  7. I found this interesting.. https://coupler.foxsports.com.au/api/v1/article/amp/afl/afl-2020-tom-papley-contract-sydney-swans-out-of-contract-players-biggest-free-agents-tom-morris-jonathan-brown/news-story/d1efb2591fa14548f8940c5b97730f54?__twitter_impression=true Article states we were one of the 3 clubs to have been told he won't be traded and that we had shown interest for a while now.
  8. Dogs are playing at Cazaly Stadium on 6:10pm next Sunday.. Freo have already played at that ground so you think that's an advantage. Hopefully its blowing a gale and heavy rain, that would at least slow the dogs down.
  9. Makes me even more confident that Jason Taylor and his crew will find another gem in our first pick.
  10. Yes i was very proud of Trac for doing this.
  11. He is one hell of a player is Langdon... Keep saying it each week, his work rate is ridiculously through the roof. Can anyone think of a player we've had who's been willing to gut run every single week? Steven Tingay is the best I can think off?
  12. He played a bit more high up the field around the midfield I though. Made us look really slick and quick around the ball. This is one great example.
  13. Unfortunately yes i think we have too? Without no seconds football, its just too much on an 18 year key tall.
  14. When he's fully fit I get your drift. Again, he hasn't played for a week. He'll make 0 impact due to no match fitness under his belt. It would be a selection disaster if they picked him. Don't get me wrong, i rate Jacko very highly, but he will not be match ready.
  15. Heath Shaw only had 5 disposals for the night.. I honestly did not notice him at all tonight and its no wonder why. Usually kills us off half back.
  16. Claimed him as my boy from from the moment we drafted him. Have been saying that while all the draft hype was on Jackson and Pickett, this is is as good if not better then both. Absolute steal who i rated in the top 20.
  17. Mate, no joke my excuse back then was I was about 12 beers deep. Tonight it's been a couple of stubbies and a few glasses or Johnny Walker red. This is my 2nd strike, 3rd one and I'll have a month off the grog.
  18. Personally I like Petty forward. He's a one touch grab. Something our forwards don't do well especially Weideman.
  19. Nev its a huge risk bringing an 18 year old into a do or die clash of the year off the back of a 5 week lay off. I just for the life of me see why we need to do that. Yes we've seen the Weid/Jacko work better then most, but that's far too much of a risk for my liking.
  20. Yeah look if it wasn't for Marty Hore not being injured, we would hardly see Smith playing.
  21. No one is hyping him up Dr. He shows great traits that reminds you of the Cyrils, Betts of the world. Doesn't mean we are saying he'll be the next one of them. He'll be the next Kozzy Pickett because he he's got his own unique talent as well. But we are also entitled to celebrate the glimpses that Rivers, Pickett and Jackson have shown. The world is miserable enough as it is. Just enjoy the the small things while we can.
  22. Look he makes me nervous as [censored] eveeytime he's in a won on won situations and loses his feet far too often. But he keeps it simple unlike Omac. Still not sure if being a defender is his right position Harry sorry. I know at every center ball up from the behind the goal view, he was manning Himmelberg. There were times he was caught out with Cameron and held his own well.
  23. What brand are we drinking tonight Sir?
