This absolutely sums up what I've been saying for years on Tom Sparrow. Absolute nothing player that supporters are still asking the same old question each week on why on earth is he getting a game based on what exactly? I don't want to hear that he plays as a defensive midfielder because he simply doesn't, its the biggest myth i have heard on here. He doesn't tag, he doesn't play as a sweeper, nor does he actually defend in transition. His season alone this year.

That's the issue though. A lot of red and blue nuffies on here still think this gives us credits in the bank, it simply doesn't. A lot has changed since then and people can't continue to use this excuse as a get out clause.

Huh? What's this actually based on? Zero evidence to back this up.

Stark difference to the ultra workrate that Andrew Brayshaw displayed today especially his run down tackles on Tholstrup when he sprinted back defensively to lay that tackle. Cannot remember a time Oliver actually did that. Just on Brayshaw, it was honestly very impressive to watch the way he goes about it. His work rate and ability to get back defensively to help out the defenders was very impressive to watch.

At the right price we'd be silly not to assess what potentially could benefit this club from a salary point of view and draft capital for future potential targets such as Finn Callaghan or a Harley Reid.

I know he's a kid but don't think that should an excuse to let him off. He had a pretty bad last 10 minutes with him giving away the 50 as well. He'll learn, but it's still no excuse.
