So did anyone catch the opening segment of the agenda setters? Not that I watched it but had the TV running in the background and this show so happened to come on and immediately Caro there was ongoing issues at board level with Brad Green and Steven Smith. Supposedly the Goodwin sacking was purely a Brad Green decision. Not entirely sure where Smith stand on this. Steven Smith was supoose to start in a few weeks, but now apparently Greeny is pushing his start time back to December because now he wants to stay involved and sees everything through. Mentioned there is clearly a disconnect off field at leadership level with board members probably not being aligned with one another. Off field issues now going to be a major barrier for potentially Nathan Buckley or any other coach due to our messy board level and lack of stability.

Viney is a liability in our midfield and whoever is the new coach needs to address the elephant in the room and that is Viney should not be in our best 22 next unless he can reinvent himself into a pressure small forward. If not, then hes depth at Casey.

Hes not wrong. We're an Adelaide off season recruiting from at least finishing top 6 next year. This off season will be more crucial then ever in terms of getting the player movement correct.

Really? Its pretty common knowledge that this would occur at every single club. Ignore what anyone's says on here that the players love Goody etc etc.. you may have that, but you also will have a group that will not like him and have zero trust in the game plan. Anyone thats been heavily involved within footy circles whether thats at state league or community level would see this a lot as being a common occurrence.

His marking ability up forward could be Heeney like for us.

The comparisons is referenced because Oliver has proven to be an A grader at their level but also to prove that all elite players go through their own adversity with injuries in season. Yet those players find a way to consistently perform at a high level managing injuries week in, week out. Oliver hasnt played a decent game since early 2023 and because of that, supporters are letting him off the leash far too easily with excuses to justify okay performances.
