INSIDE DEES’ REVIEW WITH ‘P****D OFF’ GOODWIN
dazzledavey36 replied to Cheap Seats's topic in Melbourne Demons
Better then the 100 lines I use to do at school. I'll take that. -
Which was conducted by Josh Mahoney.. Go figure hey.

Its worth noting that the rest of the remaining players have finally joined the the rest of the crew. I was a fan of some of Oskar Bakers work on the wing last year. Quick and agile and is a good kick also. I would bite the bullet and bring him in if it meant that Jones or Brayshaw don't have to play on the wing every again.

Yeah it could be the case @Pennant St Dee. It's obvious though that Ross was doing all this without even his own management knowing. Another obvious thing was that Ross Lyon was definitely on the list of high priority. Makes you wonder if we had snagged one of Clarkson or Lyon at the time what our club would look like know. So many what ifs.

INSIDE DEES’ REVIEW WITH ‘P****D OFF’ GOODWIN

Oh honestly mine was just a pisstake comment (hint at my permit comment) I seriously lol when random Joe blows pull out the old "me here at this time". I fairness though I was serious about the permits... -
Does not surprise me one bit if true.

It was a disgraceful tweet. Thankfully they took it down after his brother gave them a serve.

Don't you think we've let that happen far too long for little result back? The lack of finals success in the last 15 years speaks for itself in an alarming rate.

I was told this by an ex assistant coach at the Dees back in 2015 when we bumped into him while we were having beers and a BBQ just before new years eve in Corowa. He comes up every year during the summer period by the Murray with his family. Melbourne sought out Ross Lyon, Michael Malthouse and also Alistair Clarkson at the time. The theme was to go for an experienced coach as the board felt the players needed a fair shake up by a good hard taskmaster. When they spoke to Ross Lyon he declined as he had already told the club that he had committed to the saints. Garry Lyon and Ross Lyon shared the same manager in Craig Kelly, and Kelly even told Lyon that Ross had verbally committed to the saints but just hadn't signed as of yet. Ross then behind everyone's back has a secret meeting with the dockers and the rest is history. Even his manager Craig Kelly was caught completely off guard. Melbourne wanted him, but Ross had bigger things going on. Clarkson was offered a huge package deal. Garry Lyon and to a degree Stynes really pushed Clarkson hard, but he was contracted at the time and knew that a dynasty was only around the corner. Lyon then spoke to Malthouse. Mick had already confirmed that he was taking time off coaching (this was in 2011 after he finished up at the pies) and instead was looking at going into the media. It was there that Malthouse Apparently gave a glowing and raving endorsement about one of his young and up and coming assistant coaches in Mark Neeld. After the Dees missed out on their targeted experience men, they then changed their direction and interviewed the likes of Brendan McCartney, Alan Richardson and Mark Neeld. The rest is history as they say. All I will say is Garry Lyon tried what every melbourne supporter wanted at the time and that was go for the experienced coach we needed. Unfortunately we just ran out of options it seems. I dont blame Garry for the Neeld [censored] up.

No he's ball use is quite poor. He's a very meh player.

You do realise Matt Crouch is a bigger inside of a midfielder then even Brayshaw and Harmes?

INSIDE DEES’ REVIEW WITH ‘P****D OFF’ GOODWIN

Cool story. If personal issues are dealt internally then that's where its stays. Its gutless by you that you feel that this needs to be brought up in once again. Like I said, Its weak as pi ss. -
The saints have sped right past us. Their young talent coming through and also smart recruiting like Butler and Jones have been a master-stroke.

This is a [censored] poor post. Criticism for his coaching is warranted. Getting personal like this is weak as p iss.- 108 replies

While we are on team structure, how on earth have we had pretty much all of last year, all pre season to get the right structure and team balance, and yet here we are again talking about the same problem. Its like when we went in with the one key forward at the start of the year with TMac and left Weideman. Blind Freddy could tell it was a recipe for disaster. Every single supporter but the coaches could see it was never going to work. ?♂️

Josh Mahoney - The Secret Unlocked!
dazzledavey36 replied to DurriePirate's topic in Melbourne Demons
I agree with the narrative on here. I have voiced in the past that our media department has been the worst in the AFL by a mile. Ever since Benny Gibson has jumped on board its given it a whole new dynamic. So well done to you Benny and the rest of the media team. Haven't had the chance to watch the Mahoney interview. Will now. -
No he doesn't. Absolute clueless. Reading his [censored] last week was a glimpse. Going to get worse I'm afraid.
-
Amon.. Killed us last night with his outside run.
-
Our defensive set up was i thought quite organised last night. It was the lack of pressure from the mids that was glaring. May, Lockhart, Lever and Hibberd can all hold their head up high.

Can someone pm me the article please. -
I swear when he was at his best in 2017 and 2018, his disposal wasn't this horrific.. he's always had a kicking issue and even from his bushie days he'd miss the odd kick here and there. But its almost like his skills have all of a sudden dropped significantly.

@Elegt correct me if i am wrong here? I don't think you entirely understand how list management works do you..
