No one is hyping him up Dr. He shows great traits that reminds you of the Cyrils, Betts of the world. Doesn't mean we are saying he'll be the next one of them. He'll be the next Kozzy Pickett because he he's got his own unique talent as well. But we are also entitled to celebrate the glimpses that Rivers, Pickett and Jackson have shown. The world is miserable enough as it is. Just enjoy the the small things while we can.
  2. Look he makes me nervous as [censored] eveeytime he's in a won on won situations and loses his feet far too often. But he keeps it simple unlike Omac. Still not sure if being a defender is his right position Harry sorry. I know at every center ball up from the behind the goal view, he was manning Himmelberg. There were times he was caught out with Cameron and held his own well.
  3. What brand are we drinking tonight Sir?
  4. Special mention to Joel Smith who shut down Elliot Himmelberg. Kept him to 5 disposals and 0 goals.
  5. Jesus I was hard on him last year and rightly so. But this year he's been one of the most consistent player so far. He is one hell of a footballer. Tough, takes no [censored] and a big presence. I like Gawny, but I would easily have this bloke as our captain.

He'll get there. His upside is enormous, but people need to have some patience because like all small forwards early in their career, he'll have quiet games here and there. He's kicked 7.12 this year, so he's actually hitting the scoreboard. Turn half those behinds into goals and we'd be lauding what a brilliant first year he's had.

Oh of course. Pickett will put in a quiet performance next week and fktards like @olisik will pop on here and demand he get delisted.
  8. We cannot simply throw an 18 year in one of the most crucial game of the year straight into the side on the back of a 5 week lay off. Stick with Weideman, he just needs to learn how to get himself out from this rut. Dropping him won't fix that. This is all part of his development into a good power forward.
  9. Yeah fair enough.

Well no he had 10 pressure acts. So you're wrong. No not an Oscar fan. Been wanting him delisted since 2017. But this isn't about him.
  11. Yes for the wanting us to lose, but no for the selection comment. Tonight showed why the likes of Melksham and ANB should not be in the team. Its infuriating Melksham continues to get a game with zero defensive pressure all year. Not only that, he gives up goals through stupidity and lack of discipline. I'll cop the losing comment. Won't cop we continue to gift Melksham a game week in, week out.

    Cool story
  13. I don't give a sh it about that. He had 3 disposals for the whole game. He was useless.
  14. Be very surprised. I still the the Freo/Swans game are the ones that have cost us. I hate to be negative Nancy but even if we did make finals I think we'd be just making up numbers.
  15. Yeah we knew what the conditions were and picked a slow lumbering bloke. Browns mobility and work rate would have been really handy. I still feel those losses to Freo and the Swans will be the ones that cost us finals.

Where are they all? Not surprised they've gone missing... Tonight was just a real glimpse of what to expect in the future. All the morons who expect this performance every week are kidding themselves. He's still a developing kid who is always going to have inconsistency in his game. In fact he will for the next 50 to 70 games of his career. Olisik and the rest of the haters on here can [censored] right off for good.
  17. No I'm with you here. His work rate was immense, and gave us a good target, especially in the 3rd quarter.
  18. A great win indeed. But job is not done. Glad the players didn't over celebrate. Job is not done, as we need a few things to go our way. On a personal note, I'm very proud of Charlie Spargo. Kid (yes he is only 20 years of age) cops it more then any other player on our list, and to see him play a significant role in tonight's win kudos to his extreme hard work off field.

I've quoted this for this brilliant post. Barely did a pre season. I love this kid and have been a fan since day dot. I love blokes who I different and unique. One thing I will say is that he rarely wastes the ball. With Tomlinson now locking down that 3rd defender spot, its up to Baker now to own that spot. Really hope Langdon takes him under his wing over the summer.
  20. I think I got hacked...
  21. This by far his worst game in a long time.
  22. [censored] hell Max.. ?‍♂️
  23. Look you can't fault the effort tonight. Yes we've had our moments but we're having a crack.
