Good luck. Got howled down last year when I said that Oliver was 100% assessing his options and the Carlton talk was real. We're Melbourne going to trade him if he requested a trade? No.. its laughable how many refuse to take the red and blue glasses off Oliver at the time was impatient and wants finals success and missing last year was nearly the final nail in the coffin. It a took a Goodwin and Yze chat to bring him back down a level. Having known Oliver since working with him at the Bushies, you start to make great connections with his family and close friends and that's where you hear the noise. I am not sure whether he is any close to re-signing or not, but if we get to the mid year bye and we aren't in the top 8 and he hasn't signed on then I'll be worried.
  2. I hope this now gives Brayshae the opportunity to spend more quality minutes as an inside midfielder.
  3. This would be my ins based on gut feeling. In: Viney, Melksham Out: Harmes Sparrow We know Goody is a fan of Melksham, and being on a quick deck we could use Melkshams clean kicking skills. Melksham has only played the 1 VFL game so they may just go with the one change being Viney for Harmes.
  4. @Lord Nev on the mark.
  5. Riley Beveridge on the AFL website going with the following changes: In: Viney, Melksham Out: Sparrow, Chandler No mention of Harmes so far. https://www.afl.com.au/news/568442/in-the-mix-r2-who-s-pushing-for-selection-who-s-under-the-pump-/amp
  6. Will be on SEN this arvo.

Jesus christ I hate Melbourne supporters.. We've gone from questioning Clayton Oliver's worth in the team, to now wanting to trade Max Gawn. Who would have thought a win still brings the worse out in some.

    He's headed back to Perth.
  9. Well we have some that say that he's actually not that important of a player and can be replaceable (ridiculous really..) and some questioning whether they're willing to pay top dollar. Give him what he wants.
  10. They had former AFL player playing in their side if that's what you mean??
  11. I dont think anyone is questioning around the financial stuff, but more so his worth as a player. Personally if it was up to me he'd be the highest paid player on our list. That's how bloody good he is.
  12. Got us Max Gawn ?‍♂️
  13. This is why Hunt needs to stay in the side. While he had a disappointing game, he's the only one who can keep up with their smalls when they slingshot out the back. Jetta just needs to lock down on Higgins or Lonie and don't worry about getting a touch. He's got the smarts to use his body positioning and strength to at least keep up with them around the contests. Nick Smith who played at the Swans was a back pocket specialist who u had huge respect for. Played on the games best forwards in Betts, Rioli, Didak and would just completely shut them out of the game just due to his discipline style and body positioning. Wasn't quick either, but did the job.
  14. I think its quite evident that old mate Roost it doesn't watch saints games or has any idea that in the past Tim Membrey has absolutely owned us. Don't take him serious.
  15. Wouldn't be surprised if there is a huge god father offer from Carlton or Essendon.. Thinking Tom Scully/Tom Boyd deal like.
  16. Not surprised one bit. The Casey/Melbourne media department in keeping fans Informed around this stuff is an absolute debacle. I've seen country footy clubs post far more better content on their social media then our [censored] club.
  17. Yes and like most tall kids, they're fair way off. It's no issue, but supporters will need to be patient.
  18. Still a fair way off to be honest. But he just as much games into him as possible.
  19. If they see him fit enough to play then it's a very simple change, Viney for Sparrow. I'm really not sure what Sparrow adds to our side other then grunt. Hunt was simply poor. St Kilda have some quick forwards so he'll likely play again. Jones and Jetta I thought were great contributors. Jetta I was pretty hard on pre game but it was Neville of 2018 performance.
  20. 35 disposals for the game. 10 kicks and 25 handballs. The part of his game I was hoping for an adjustment over the summer.

Lol should have given the venue to Essendon/Hawthorn. Disgraceful
