TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
The point is by bring talls in its to make Lever more accountable and May to lesser degree. Last week showed how vulnerable Lever is when matched one on one. Couple of times times he was simply out marked by Naughton in one on one contests. The other point is now clubs are putting enormous amount of work into Salem. The pressure they applied on him on the weekend was evident and he hasn't been able to give that run and drive like he did in the first half of the year. No coincidence that they've brought in an extra distributor in Bowey? Our defence is still standing up and doing a great job. But clubs are starting to click onto this. We are leaking easy goals then compared to the first half of the year.

I didn't mention anything that it was specifically just the Doggies game. Our defensive unit has dropped off in the past couple of weeks.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
Clubs have simply worked us out. Man up Lever, limit the delivery to May and put enormous amount of heat and pressure on Salem and that's a significant win.

TEAMS: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
It didn't need to be the alternative though. I would have been happy to bring Melksham in to shore up a ball use going inside 50. Time and time again over the Goodwin era where we've shaken our heads at selection. It's cost us wins. We are 4 weeks out from finals and no close to fixing up not only our ball use going forward but our structure as well. I'm sorry for being hard on Jacko but he's an absolute witches cone in our forward line, and we are pretty much playing with a 5 man forward line. Would have been perfect to bring in Melksham and get our forward entries and structure right. Perplexing really.

Good to see Goodys stubborness at selection has kicked. Truly bizarre how Jackson continues to get a game.

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
What's Jackson got to do with Weideman? Two completely different players.

Rd 22 vs Adelaide in Melbourne
Wait what? Why? This game is scheduled at the MCG where we can still play game. Why on earth is this being moved to [censored] Darwin?

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
Awesome! From watching his game on VFL he's been an absolute stand out. I'm thinking Rivers will be dropped.

Goody in his press conference said they're pretty much playing at Metricon on Saturday.

Kobe Farmer
In one of the Facebook MFC groups that I am in, Jeff's partner voiced her frustration and displeasure on there when Kobe was notified that we wouldn't be picking him up at the start of the year. A few pointed out that sometimes it just comes down to being simply not good enough and on exposed form didn't really show much. Still didn't take it well though. If she felt like that, I wonder how Jeff felt.

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
And you have just highlighted Spargo's and Pickett's strengths also. They both use the footy and kick goals. Bedford is poor by foot and doesn't kick enough goals and Chandler barely wins enough of the footy as well.
-
CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
Pickett averages 12.3 disposal per game. Spargo averages only 11.3 disposals per game.

FIXTURE: Rd 20 2021
To be honest our at the G of late has been poor really. Rather play them at Marvel.

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
I just don't think now is the time to be experimenting with players who are still questionable at AFL standard. We should have done this way earlier and I think now we've missed the boat. They're just too inexperienced right now to be bring them in against some quality sides we are coming up against in the next few weeks I've also been hard on Melkshams defensive game, but if he is offering us quality ball use going inside 50 then I'm taking that with both hand.

CHANGES: Rd 20 vs Gold Coast
As @Lord Nev stated, Goody won't drop ANB unfortunately. Goody and the coaches love all the pressure acts and defensive stuff that he brings but he's been woeful and a liability for the past month and a bit. Never seen a player just panick so much and dump kick out of the contest to no man's land. Goody's stubborness as a coach has crept back in.
