Shane is more then happy for Taj to be drafted by Melbourne.

I would say the recruiters have been in close contact for sure. Taj was down in Melbourne for a week and trained with the club. Shane has also lived in Perth and Brisbane in recent years. One as an assistant coach for Brisbane, and also doing some Academy work in Perth. I would think his time has been consumed with this. I'm also going off what Shane said in the podcast btw.

Since Woewodin left the club unfortunately he's never been invited back to a best and fairest function, or anything related to MFC. I was listening to a podcast where Shane was interviewed. He has stated that at times he feels like he's more Collingwood then Melbourne. But did state that Taj is a very passionate Melbourne supporter and his favourite player is Jack Viney.

It's a protein shake that's provided to the players after the game. Instead of wasting them pouring on players heads, it's meant to be consumed straight after physical activity. As Petracca said last night, it's people like property stewarts who put in the time and energy in preparing this kind of stuff for the players and then having to clean up the mess afterwards. My respect for Petraccas leadership has gone through a whole new level after seeing this last night. Kudos also to Gawn for addressing this straight after the game as well.

He sounds like a very mature and driven young kid. Has Fantastic leadership qualities and obviously someone who's respected among his peers. The type of player Simon Goodwin/Jason Taylor crave.

It's funny how the mind works. Pre game I was nervous as hell thinking this is the game we could easily drop. Yet throughout the game I did not once feel threatened. Thought we had the game in control and when they looked like they wanted to get on a roll we just pegged it back to our level. Signs of a bloody good football side.

I'd give Chandler another game. Especially being in SA. A chance to play in front of family. Though, another part of me once Sparrow in asap.

If Eddie was smart enough he should have taken the year off in general from any form of AFL. Focus on other interests and his family. His work in the media this year on classified and as a commentator has been really bizarre to the point where I question his mental health.
