WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER

He'll certainly make a strong contribution for Casey. Will take him a few weeks to adjust to the tempo but he's a proven hard worker and quick learner as well. Really stoked for him. -
WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER
dazzledavey36 replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's your typical country lad. Aggressive in the air and and strong one on one. Likes to peel of and take a good intercept mark but his reading of the play is one of his strengths. As I said before, pretty courageous as well. He's been mixing it well with the Albury Tigers seniors who are currently sitting top. They breed them really tough down there and he's a bloody tough young fella.- 240 replies

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER

A great kid who's been playing for the bushies and Albury Tigers alongside our very own Daniel Cross and Jeff Garlett. An intercept defender who reads the play extremely well. The fact he's played against men puts him in the frame at some stage this year.- 240 replies

MELBOURNE Selections: 15, 24 Melbourne is considering Werribee defender Kye Declase, who trained with them over the summer, Albury Tigers backman Daniel Turner and Murray forward Cameron McLeod. McLeod is a medium-sized forward who would add to the Demons’ already impressive array of goalkicking options, while Declase and McLeod could help shore up their defensive stocks, having lost both Marty Hore and Adam Tomlinson to season-ending knee injuries. It has been reported that Melbourne was set to reach out to Swan Districts midfielder Frank Anderson this week to arrange for the 23-year-old VFL export to have a medical. Anderson is coming off an impressive 26-disposal effort in Swan Districts’ win over East Fremantle on the weekend, also booting the final goal of the day to finish as one of his team’s best players.

Cal Twomey has us linked to Kye Declase and very own Albury lad here in Daniel Turner who is a 191cm tall defender.
-
No he's still at the club doing what he does.
-
No I think it's more targeted at the VFL SANFL clubs
-
Confidence more then anything. Last he he held on to some pretty big marks and then dropped right off. Just needs a game where it just sticks and gets a feel for it.

I read yesterday that if an AFL club picks up a player in the mid season draft, they need to fund the club the player was drafted from 10k. Pretty much as a compensation. Whether the club is willing to give up 10k let alone 20k just for two players is another discussion, especially with clubs already still recovering financially from last year's covid situation.

Yes

Really intrigued by this. I haven't seen a name that we've been linked to compared to some of the names with other clubs. Do wonder whether we'll go a defender then Midfielder.
-
Mark Robinson has us taking Tyson Stengle in his phantom mid season draft.

Melbourne supporter, old man works for Casey Demons and is very close with Petracca. He would be an awesome replacement for Hibberd.

Kayo? Can still watch fox footy programs on there.
-
You know there are other shows you can watch that cover great football content right? Emailing a national radio station venting about the fact they didn't cover off on a Melbourne game is a bit extreme don't you think?? First crack on FOX is one of my favourites. Also can't wait to watch On The Couch with the boys picking apart the game.

I could hear him clearly on the TV. Very very demanding leader who expects 110% from everyone. I use to rate Nick Maxwell as one of the more demanding captains going around at the time they won the 2010 flag. He was very directive and vocal and it was as clear as daylight. Those types of leaders are absolutely just worth their gold.

Would cost a fortune. We don't have the picks or salary Freo/Cerra would demand.
-
Since how is this actual criticism of his game? Jordon is an inside mid who can also go on the outside. His not in the side to provide aerial contests. His in the team purely to play a simple role in our midfield winning the inside contest and then providing an extra option on the outside. In fact I've never even seen him being beaten in a one on one contest from an aerial contest point of view. Sometimes you just nit pick the weirdest [censored] Spence..
-
Hes a little [censored]. Lost all respect when he staged a dive and smiled when he got the free kick. Should have gotten a fine from the AFL. Glad we didn't recruit the little Fl og

I said during the week if it's one player to shut down Weightman it's Rivers. Took him to the absolute cleaners and completely nullified him out of the game.
