Part tagger you mean.. Wasn't played as a tagger at all in both finals last year when we had the likes of Luke Parker, Callum Mills and Lachie Neale smash us around the midfield in both games.

Would not be surprised of Harmes isn't playing round 1. Reckon he's on the outer now with the emergence of Sparrow and Jordon and more midfield minutes for Pickett.

You're under selling Petty here. Barely ever wastes the footy.

Farewell Kye Turner
Good luck to him. Only way I can see him getting a game is if there is serious injury carnage to our tall defensive stocks.

Well this is exact why I asked because he did post a insta story of himself a few days ago in a 4 wheel drive on what looked like a beach in Perth.

Surprised we only kept it to the two players to train with us. Oleg Markov was someone i thought we would have genuinely looked at. Speedy half back defender who could have been handy depth perhaps.- 2022 Player Reviews: 41 Judd McVee

The club could easily just leave a spot open for the MSD.- Training Ground?

Was anything said at the recent AGM regarding this.- TRAINING: Saturday 11th February 2023
The Rivers to midfield move is certainly intriguing from my point of view. He looks extremely fit from seeing him up close and he's got that perfect combination of speed and power alongside his height being 188cm which is now the norm for being a modern prototype midfielder. I like it.- TRAINING: Wednesday 8th February 2023

Amazing @furious d.. This is the kind of [censored] I love hearing from the coaches, especially when an opportunity to ask questions etc.- TRAINING: Wednesday 8th February 2023
Some good reports on Jefferson it seems? Keen to hear how Deakyn Smith and Schache went in the match sims.- TRAINING: Wednesday 8th February 2023
Did Adams participate in the match sim?- TRAINING: Wednesday 8th February 2023
He's a massive unit. Our midfield has some serious size and grunt in there.- TRAINING: Tuesday 7th February 2023
He glides across the field and just seems smooth and calm with ball in hand. He was another Choco was praising him constantly when he was in his kicking drill.- TRAINING: Tuesday 7th February 2023
In saying that, if I'm going for a needs point of view then I'm going Burgoyne @dworship. Just not entirely sure another key defender is really on top of the needs list. Burgoyne on the other hand would add some outside dash and poise off a half back. Losing Hunt last year and Jetta the year before, I just feel we haven't exactly filled those type of players that being a lock down defender who can some serious speed off half back. Burgoyne may potentially fit that need.- TRAINING: Tuesday 7th February 2023
It's really hard to judge who is ahead of who based on today's session. It was really just a flush run session just to get the legs moving, and balls zinging around. There was no contested game style one on one where players were going at full 100%. I watched Burgoyne closely in one of the stationary kicking drill and he didn't miss a target at all. He's certainly got that 'Burgoyne' poise and smoothness in the way he handles the footy below his knees. I also watched Turner after a bit and my immediate reaction was that he has an odd kicking style, but was pretty effective. He's also quiet tall and lean and moves athletically similar to Joel Smith. You're probably better off asking the regulars in @DeeSpencer @kev martin @Slartibartfast and @Demonland who get down a bit more often and have watched a lot of the match simulation drills.
