My son is stoked. Runs around the back yard calling his name. Reminds me so much of myself when I was doing the exact same thing calling Jeff Farmer's name.- PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast

Choco comes out of contract at the end of the year too. Hopefully he stays.- TRAINING: Monday 1st May, 2023
Disappointing to hear about Schache. Looks like Petty is a straight in this weekend.- Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
Fremantle's development is puss. I'd happily back Mark Williams to get the best out of him because the kid certainly has talent. Him and Kozzie buzzing around the forward line would make defenders think twice. I reckon we can fit him in somewhere..- Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
Welcome to the Dees Liam Henry.- CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill Hawks
Couldn't think of anything worse trying to turn Fritsch into and 2nd key forward. He doesn't have the physical capabilities snd height of doing that and never will. As you put perfectly, play him to his strengths which he's doing exactly that and that's playing as that floating 3rd/4th forward.- Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
Yeah not sure why my gif was deleted but okay... Amazing news about Kozzie! Well done Tim Lamb, Jason Taylor, Alan Richardson and Simon Goodwin for creating an environment for players wanting to stay. Going off the statement it seems like the club involved his family a fair bit in this process which is very professional from the footy club. So kudos to them! From a playing perspective I'm incredibly overwhelmed with excitement. He's literally best thing I've seen since Jeff Farmer and the thought of losing him was always in thr back of our minds. Wouldn't be surprised if we see him taking up a role similar to what Neville Jetta did when he was playing here and paving the way and being a leader for education around indigenous discussions and being a role model in that space.- NON-MFC: Rd 07 2023
At least there fans get to games.- CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill Hawks
McDonald struggling to push forward is probably not the sigh of someone that's going to break into the senior side anytime soon.- NON-MFC: Rd 07 2023

If Adelaide blow this... 🤬- POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Bit sore and bothered from playing local footy so to be able to sit back last night and the heart rate not rise one bit was refreshing. I certainly did not expect this kind of performance off the back of a 5 day break. We were so ruthless on our attack on the footy that we kept at it for 4 full quarters. Not one bit bothered they kicked 3 goals in the end. Any 90 point win against a Alistair Clarkson side is impressive enough. I'm sure Goody and the coaches will have their say on that internally. Huge clash next week against the Suns at their home ground. Another 4 quarters boys.- CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill Hawks
This is Melkshams level.. at VFL. Great for the kids coming through and an extra experience body to help out but that's it. His time at AFL level is limited, let's keep it that way.- CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill Hawks
No, not at all.- CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill Hawks
Anyone wanting McDonald and Brown in next week, forget it. Both just struggling. No one really putting their hand up at all except Joel Smith. Looks like Petty the only in next week and I'm fine with that.- GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne

Would not be surprised if Harmes is traded at years end- Welcome to Demonland Josh Schache
He was in the same draft as Oliver. In fact both teammates and close friends at the Murray Bushrangers. I've always been a bit bias on Schache just from dealing with him back then. Some people forget that during his draft year he was rated the best key forward in his draft year by a fair mile ahead of the likes of Charlie Curnow, Harry McKay and Eric Hipwood. So the talent is definitely there. Being at Brisbane at a time where they were one of the worst teams going around didn't help his development. Then having to go to the doggies where he's had no continuity due to form, injuries and Bevo being an odd unit hasn't helped either. If it was me I'd give Schache 5 games in a row at AFL level to see how whether he's up to it and just advise him that they have zero expectations, but also just wanting him to compete hard each game.- Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
