Get to the āG!
I so hope everyone who can go ..goes. As Iām oft criticised for being an āoptimistic supporter ā and would go anyway ā¦let me say that the feeling you get when you get a win that weāre not expected to get or been under the pump media wise (which seems to be most of this year) is just incredible. But win or lose ANB & BBB deserve a good send off so.. Go Dees

The Watch with Ben Gibson | Tom Morris
Not sure ..maybe ask Neale why he wanted to leave Brisbane or why Dangerfield wanted to leave Adelaide or Kelly ..Geelong ā¦could keep going .. Say it again ..Club is bigger than player ..

Max Gawn Re-Signs Until 2027
Can you explain why itās ok for DS to pile on the club for Maxās extension but you donāt think itās ok for posters to pile on his ridiculous comments. There has been so much negativity lately and after a fantastic win & brilliant news re our Captain..its good to enjoy some positivityā¦

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Clarry played under duress & the rib injury would have been the final straw. Clarry was still better than anyone else we had and one of the main reasons the club kept playing him would have been for his mental health. Can you really imagine how he would have been in rehab for half the season. Donāt criticise the club as you have no idea of how the club & the player worked together to get him to where he was.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Quite stupid commentsā¦no team has the luxury of resting the many players that are running round with injuries. 2 come to mind in DeGoey & Curnow & then ..bringing Todd Marshall back ..Alex Pearce etc ā¦the list goes on.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Considering the rib injury would have been the hit from Sweet ā¦so yes very painful FOR HIM

Best Presser Ever!!
Shame ā¦your lack of perceptron is staggering. A person (def not a genuine supporter) whose mind is set one way & doesnāt want anything to sway it. ā¹ļø

What was your excuse?
True.. was at the game.. I would say that even a Windsor would have got us over the line .,

What was your excuse?
I believe we had 16,000 GWS and just under 18,000 tonight. Great gameā¦couldnāt fault our endeavour. Our supporters are renowned for coming out of the āwoodworkā⦠if we were contenders ā¦would have been heaps more !! End of the day ..glad I went ā¦

Time to go Goody?
Just so embarrassing š³. Also re Jeffo ..instructions are another 5kg but club pleased with progress. We wonāt see him this year. Just another reason you have NFI !!

What was your excuse?
You choose to follow a team ..pay your membership if you can but that doesnāt guarantee you a win every week. Of course thereās genuine reasons supporters canāt attend but I bet for every 1 of those thereās probably at least 10 who are probably typing vitriol on their keyboards & ranting at coach & players rather than braving the cold/timeslot etc to attend. We had a coach who was in hospital most of the week and went back to hospital..players that are obviously not 100% (& I know not just our club) drag themselves to the game for us as supporters but thereās an awful element of āsupportersā (& I use the term lightly) on this forum who seem to take more delight in a loss rather than a win. That crowd size last night was unacceptable for a club with a membership over 60,000

binmanās rant (Goody defence)
I was at the footy a couple of weeks ago & was chatting to a few guys I see now & then at Melb games. One made a comment to me āhave you ever read a forum called Demonland , itās great for a laugh especially after a loss.ā So true ā¦the OTT comments after a loss & the vitriol against coach & certain players is downright embarrassing. Iām all for understanding the emotion during the game day thread (never read it) but when thatās died down ā¦quite unbelievable. Now Iāve read your post ..understand completely where they were coming from ā¦laughable/embarrassing..pick your adjective

binmanās rant (Goody defence)
Only just able to listen to podcast ā¦I think the ārantā was very measured & absolutely brilliant. Nothing more to be said but ..thanks.

The Run Home
You obviously havenāt read articles or listened to discussions (not Binmanās) where the High Performance teams are arguably one of the most important factors. Itās not rocket science that you have to keep the performance levels of teams..players to a level that has them ācherry ripeā for finals but the challenge this year is thereās been an extra game ,,,5 day breaks ..some teams with 2 byes etc. Players would also have their own personal programs ..,goals etc. This year has had more anomalies in terms of scoring ..results..upsets that I can remember..so good luck trying to work out all that & also when āother teams ā are loading. Whether you want to acknowledge this or not football is a science ..we only see the obvious things but itās what we donāt know & shouldnāt know.. is quite simply what goes on between those four walls.

Goody is a genius!!!
Sour & silly comment. It was a great win missing 2 of our greatest players and a team effort executed very well. The disrespect you show our premiership coach is unbelievable. Did you actually notice last night how ātall forward linesā werenāt effective. No-one picked us ..the odds were against us and yet we won . Maybe just enjoy the win & leave the sniping out of it ā¦

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Disagree ā¦Petty knows how to mark defensively & offensively & his marking has def improved. JVR has been capable all season of back up ruckman & it doesnāt seem to have diminished his output in any way. Iām sure the high performance team knows better than us & itās drawing a long bow to say that Petty or JVR is at more risk of getting injured by playing in the ruck than other areas of the ground. With Petty fit..if we bought in Fullerton we would have to probably drop Turner. The game wonāt be lost on our ruck selectionā¦it will rely on all players doing the jobs they are given and those jobs will be plans that hair been put in place for the situation that has arisen ā¦Max not playing.

"Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
Def agree with the Casey players but the Melb listed players will be playing to the clubs requirementsā¦would have markers they must achieve each week. This is why maybe we donāt attract a better calibre of player because the Melb way comes first? Who knows ā¦or maybe weāve had a lot of injuriesā¦weird playing schedules & only now have we a few more listed players availableā¦

"Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
Iāve read many training reports bemoaning the lack of talent at Casey only to see these players come in to the senior team surrounded by senior players and they preform admirablyā¦AMW springs to mind. No-one replaces Max but letās see what happens ..back whoever comes in & judge after the game
