Dees honesty session.
We havent beaten Sydney since Dean Bailey was coach - on current form I cant see how that will change this week

Vanders 4-6, uh-oh

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
I agree that at some stage we will play decent footy this season but like Essendon last year, it may be too little too late

The Need for Outside Midfielders
I reckon it’s less about outside mids and more about the entire side is playing like crap...getting beaten in contested ball by smaller and lighter opposition players then not bothering to defensively run hard are just two of the main issues

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
I never bought into the pre season hype but also never dreamed we’d be this diabolical either! Average to poor side who somehow played massively above themselves last year, that’s how it looks at the moment.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Starting to think trading top draft picks is a bad idea....then again we usually draft duds anyway

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Hard to see when we are going to win a game with the crap we’re serving up at the moment....

Who will the Demons target next?
Need to get over our obsession with inside mids and intercept defenders for a start: any danger we could recruit a forward?

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
I'll going to hold off panicking until at least Friday night....lose to Essendon and then: man the lifeboats

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Still love Hoges, he would be a great player for us had he stayed but toxic mates in Perth and cesspool culture at Freo have already screwed him up ("Floss" Lyon what a joke of a coach)....its a great shame it's turning bad for him hope he gets the proper support he needs.

Goodwin signs on until end of 2022
Now thats a coach the players truly love! Haha Todd at the end that was gold
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Back home with all his dropkick mates who aren’t professional footballers encouraging him to get on the p*ss.....for a guy with mental health issues probably not the best environment

Foxtel Sports aka Kayo
Thanks Diamond_Jim also looks like it might work through the edge browser on the XB1 - hopefully saved me $100 on yet another electronic device I dont really need!

Foxtel Sports aka Kayo
Has any tried streaming Kayo through a chromecast? My Samsung doesnt have a native app and despite also owning a PS4 and Xbox it also isn't available on either of those! So ipad -> chromecast might be the best option....

Sam Weideman + contract
One thing Hogan does have that I think we may miss is that smart lateral movement in the forward line. When he gets the drop on his opponent, gets him going one way and goes the other to mark the football. He did it a couple of times in the second JLT for Freo and made me think, who else can do that for us now? Tmac and Weed are more straight line charge at the ball types, I think we are a bit one dimensional with those two as key targets. Perhaps a player like Petracca could provide this when he plays forward.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
Can he play as a small forward? We really do have a glaring need in that area.

Injury List - Season 2019
Must've been a deep cork to get through to the band!

Corked illiotibial band that’s a new one

Target 70,000
We certainly didn’t feel like a small club in those two MGC finals with crowds over 90,000 and our fans were in the majority! I looked around at the stands at all the red and blue and wondered if we have a much larger supporter base than the media give us credit for! I’d certainly say we are a bigger club than North, St Kilda or the Bulldogs, whether 70,000 members is achievable I don’t know but I’m glad Pert and the club are aiming high.

Injury List - Season 2019
wouldnt surprise me if Bedford got a senior game this season...small forwards seems to be able to debut and have an impact at a young age, and from all reports he has a big bag of tricks

Lyon: Oliver is Demons best EVER midfielder
He’s a freak, already one of the best Melbourne players I’ve ever seen, and how he didn’t go #1 in his draft year shows what an inexact science selecting footballers is...when you think average footballers like Tom Boyd, Jon Patton and Jack Watts were #1

Injury List - Season 2019
You make a very good point: way back in the Rev era when we couldn't play finals 2 years in a row Brisbane had a tired, sore and broken side going into the 2003 Grand Final, which they went on to win easily...

Farewell Jesse Hogan
And the team they beat in the Grand Final is us

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Imagine the nuclear melts if Freo win a flag in the next 3 years and we dont
