May is going to drive us all insane if he gets reported every 6 weeks, I think it’s a soft suspension but he appears to be a slow learner....sure we want his aggression but already getting done for a week before even playing a proper game!?

Watching the game live yesterday, for mine the only time we played “properly” with decent intensity was the second quarter in which we dominated. For the rest of the match the boys fiddled around and generally looked half interested, apart from Steven May who tried to kill everyone including his teammates a couple of times!

Harmes played the week after surgery on a broken hand last year, don’t think a dislocated finger (even a compound one) will keep him out with a 2 week break.

I live about 25 mins away in Seaford so it’s actually the closest ground for me to get to, don’t mind it out there at all. Main advice is bring a jumper because even if it hits 27 today but halftime when that wind rips through the ground it gets darn cold

You’d think we’d win today but pre season results really are quite meaningless

We certainly didn’t feel like a small club in those two MGC finals with crowds over 90,000 and our fans were in the majority! I looked around at the stands at all the red and blue and wondered if we have a much larger supporter base than the media give us credit for! I’d certainly say we are a bigger club than North, St Kilda or the Bulldogs, whether 70,000 members is achievable I don’t know but I’m glad Pert and the club are aiming high.

Not to be the voice of doom but the last 3 years the majority of pundits have had GWS as flag favourites and they haven’t even made a GF yet...
