  1. He's on the way to becoming our version of Corey Enright, an underrated superstar in a team of bigger name superstars!
  2. Ive actually thought this....our horrific 2019 season allowed us to inject 3 fantastic kids which have transformed the side, similar to what Port did with Rozee, Duursma and Butters: not that we deliberately played like rubbish in 2019 but in hindsight...
  3. It was shocking on Sunday in the Ponsford I couldnt even hear my radio turned up full!
  4. Couldnt agree more - so many empty seats at the G yesterday and we are all crammed in like sardines in a few bays, I thought how ridiculous
  5. Imagine how hard the lid is going to fly off if we do manage to get over the line...
  6. Got home late after having a celebratory burger in the CBD after the match....never thought we were in any danger of losing you could see the boys worked over Hawthorn who were ready to crack by the last qtr...Max what a titan I can’t remember a more dominant Melbourne player in my 40 years as a supporter
  7. Not a huge Melk fan either but he could have kicked 3 last week as an opportunist forward...muffed a fairly easy set shot and a snap from in front
  8. Good week to exercise player lending rules and borrow Hoges back for a week? GWS don’t seem to want to use him!
  9. time for TMac to kick a bag of 5
  10. Mitch Brown isn’t the worst option to replace Fritta and he kicked 3 in the VFL last week
  11. taking a leaf from Vince McMahons book where wrestlers aren’t wrestlers they are “superstars”
  12. My first ever scarf which I still have was from the early 80s so its in the royal blue and red...but navy all the way for home games and games where there is no clash, looks stronger and more "Demon-like" to me. I agree with Andy we should be wearing the traditional jumper with white shorts against sides like Hawthorn this weekend
  13. Can't really compare Brayshaw and Watts - Melbourne were forever in Watt's ear about poor training standards and professionalism I recall Nathan Jones had to confront him as late as 2017...as a senior player it wasn't acceptable setting such a poor example for the younger players.
  14. Finally got it to work for a $0 ticket after trying about 20 times....glad we are all "working from home"! Dunno even where Im sitting M34 wherever that is
  15. Site keeps crashing now! Will try again a bit later....amazing they cant get these sites to work properly
  16. Im trying every combination possible but its coming up $70!
  17. I agree. Gus came through as part of our big rebuild under Roos which is finally starting to pay off, we'd have to be very careful about jettisoning a player like him, breaking up the "brotherhood". That and he's a valuable member of the team I thought he was excellent dropping back as a defensive winger to help out on the weekend once May got hurt.
  18. He’s going to be a dominant force when he’s 23 with 7-8 kgs more muscle and another 80 games experience...already holds his own against bigger and stronger men, we’ve nailed this pick in my opinion
  19. Good player but who would he force out in our onball unit? It’s pretty stacked...
  20. Fantastic news, kids been a superstar since day 1 he’s barely played a bad game
  21. None of the players ever answer that question directly anymore...they are all well coached by their management
  22. If the rumours are true that Clayton was seriously considering leaving last year the biggest questions is why? More money? Doesn't see success happening with the current team? Or personality clashes with his teammates and/or coaches? I'd be interested to know
  23. Frosty seriously...
  24. Getting Geelong off a 6 day break with no Dangerfield Higgins and Rohan...and playing boring [censored] football
  25. How could any AFL coach play Frost he’s a nightmare
