  1. 100% agree in as much he’s too good for VFL and has a real impact for us whenever he plays
  2. Playing 4 small forwards is an interesting tactic, I think Bedford and Kozzie will form a lethal combination if allowed to play together for an extended period. But can we go that small every week, especially against sides like Freo and Geelong with a lot of tall intercept defenders? I am not sure. This week however, no change.
  3. As the #1 ruckman he was unbelievable last night gave our midfield a different dynamic - what we may lose in some hitouts as he's not a big ruckman we gain so much in his ability to play as a genuine mid, his power out of the stoppages, his handball skills its like having a giant Clarrie in there!
  4. Perfect time to smash in hard and show the footy world what we can do at our best again - I think many have already forgotten how devastating our best football is
  5. Well done Disco and great to see a new player debuting on the big stage
  6. None of it makes much sense to me…May is hit hard enough to be “decked” by Melk but fine to wander off to a nightclub afterwards and doesn’t have a mark on him the next day? And now they are all good, if a “mate” punched me hard enough to knock me over I don’t think we’d be friends again that easily…none of it adds up
  7. Every great club has its challenges and has to go through these trials, the war within is almost a more difficult battle to win than that brought on by our opponents….just think when we were a nothing club, couldn’t win a game no one cared how the players behaved towards each other
  8. Did May have a mark on him in that video he did apologising? Melk probably missed and punched the wall, stuffing up his hand
  9. We'll win easily after all this!
  10. Looking at the menu you'd need a footy player's pay packet to have lunch there! woooooo
  11. Footballer's abilities to do really dumb sh** never ceases to amaze me....
  12. What the hell....
  13. Something is definitely going on as we've played great in the first quarters the last 2 weeks then completely hit the wall about halfway through the second quarter....

I go every week and I don’t notice that we are “super quiet” and the opposition are noticeably louder, I think people on here just complain about anything when we start losing
  15. What’s the TMac injury? Syndesmosis?
  16. Swans and their annoying Banjo solo theme song
  17. Would like to see us back to our brutal best tonight eg: first half against St Kilda. No more toying with these teams it’s statement time.

I’ve missed 2 games this year Hawthorn with covid and yesterday with a flu so bad I ended up watching the game in bed on my iPad! A lot of illnesses going around so it could well be a factor
  19. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong for us today, not concerned about finally copping a loss 11 weeks in
  20. I agree I like the Weid and I think he will be the next in line when TMac retires - he would be playing every week for Collingwood or Essendon.
  21. damn just when Tom had hit form too - still the Weid plays pretty well on the MCG has kicked a few goals this season
  22. Bulldogs maybe? They desperately need someone to help Naughton, depends how Bruce's knee is....no way it would be us....surely??
  23. sisso replied to McQueen's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's way too slow now, no thanks
  24. Our attack doesn't get enough credit we're averaging just under 94 points a game and have actually had more scoring shots this season than Brisbane who average 106. Inaccuracy is the only thing keeping us from averaging over 100 as well, we certainly have plenty of opportunities to score.
  25. We are one of the only teams I've seen that can lead by a relatively small margin (3-4 goals) and be in no danger of losing whatsoever
