The nastiness was back tonight….we’ve played far too nice for a lot of this season bout time we got angry
-
Fantasic news keeping all the core players drafted in the Roos era!
-
Yeah I have...we have a team that wins more often than not with generational players Gawn, Petracca, Oliver....how could you not enjoy it?
-
All I can think of is Goody is trying to baffle the Port match committee with these selections just as much as us supporters
-
Melksham….words fail me
-
I dont think its a big issue we can still turn on a burst of goals when needed better than any other side....Adelaide were hanging around most of the match last week until 3 quick ones in about 5 minutes in the last quarter finished it off as a contest for good.
-
....and get smashed in the back 10 times per match which is what happens to Max every time he plays
-
Soft game for them tonight is perfect for us they won’t be ready for how hard our midfield will hit them
-
Great win with no rucks and unbelievably biased umpiring: at the ground I was just laughing at the decisions at the end what can you do?
-
I’ve eased over the border as well first time since Adelaide oval has been rebuilt for AFL….should be a good game I reckon we will get it done by about 25-35
-
No Dogga, cupboard is bare for rucks for this one have the spare parts players in there….hopefully doesn’t matter too much
-
Riewoldt describing Omac and Frosty as “really good key defenders” ummmmmm
-
Can they keep up that pressure for another 8 weeks and then finals though? Not possible to play at max intensity all season long and they are playing their best footy now.
-
100% agree in as much he’s too good for VFL and has a real impact for us whenever he plays
-
Playing 4 small forwards is an interesting tactic, I think Bedford and Kozzie will form a lethal combination if allowed to play together for an extended period. But can we go that small every week, especially against sides like Freo and Geelong with a lot of tall intercept defenders? I am not sure. This week however, no change.

As the #1 ruckman he was unbelievable last night gave our midfield a different dynamic - what we may lose in some hitouts as he's not a big ruckman we gain so much in his ability to play as a genuine mid, his power out of the stoppages, his handball skills its like having a giant Clarrie in there!
-
Perfect time to smash in hard and show the footy world what we can do at our best again - I think many have already forgotten how devastating our best football is
-
Well done Disco and great to see a new player debuting on the big stage
-
None of it makes much sense to me…May is hit hard enough to be “decked” by Melk but fine to wander off to a nightclub afterwards and doesn’t have a mark on him the next day? And now they are all good, if a “mate” punched me hard enough to knock me over I don’t think we’d be friends again that easily…none of it adds up
-
Every great club has its challenges and has to go through these trials, the war within is almost a more difficult battle to win than that brought on by our opponents….just think when we were a nothing club, couldn’t win a game no one cared how the players behaved towards each other
-
Did May have a mark on him in that video he did apologising? Melk probably missed and punched the wall, stuffing up his hand
-
We'll win easily after all this!
-
Looking at the menu you'd need a footy player's pay packet to have lunch there! woooooo
-
Footballer's abilities to do really dumb sh** never ceases to amaze me....
-
What the hell....
