there's a lot of Voss/Black about his and Viney's work at the moment, I can't wait to watch them for the next 10 years. Plus for all of those doubters out there - his first goal was with his right foot, clean hands, great hair and can kick off both feet, he's the perfect catch.

I don't think they'd want him to take on Viney's figure. Jack is a physical specimen but is also naturally quite a thick bloke through the trunk, Christian is leaner naturally who's game probably benefits from being the size he is now. i don't think he'd be able to do what he does with that extra size much like I don't think Jack could do what he does if he were Christian's size.

The new game style along with the new rules is helping that too. a lot more goals are being scored by going over the top of the defense and e.g. Bugg on Sunday night or basically all of Jeffy's goals ever.

I'm just sad. Like everyone here i've watched us go from top 8 finishes to completely bottoming out and it's this loss over any in the last 10 years that i finally feel nothing can be done to this club to change it's current situation. No amount of draft picks, marquee coaches or undervalued rookie pick ups can pull this debacle together. I sit there with 2 close mates of mine who are hawks supporters and I have blown up at them twice in the last week when they begin to talk footy because I can't handle to listen to other people talk about success when it's been so long since i've felt anything close myself. I'm bitter, I'm jaded and I'm just downright sad that out of every football club in the land, i was stuck with this one 23 years ago. I don't want an apology from the club, I don't want empty promises from Jackson or Roos or Goodwin, I just want clarification as to how this has been allowed to go on for so long. this is no longer an onfield issue, this is an organisational issue, right down to the boys who pump up the sherrins.

Evening Demonland Thought of joining up when I read this thread. I play cricket in the premier comp and have a few good mates down at the MCC and can say with 100% certainty he won't be returning to football, not until all avenues with cricket have been explored. The bloke who took his spot, Ian Holland, lost his contract and put in a few good seasons and returned to the squad so I reckon that's the motivation Keathy would have at the minute.
