The rules changed. The EFC players could only ever get a max of 2 years, which they got and due to the ineptitude of the AFL it was backdated to the date of the original case being heard. The rules are now max of 4 years, had the EFC boys been under this rule they would have received 4 years with one backdated so 3 in reality.

A couple of tweets going around saying he has been delisted. If so I would like to say thanks to Chris, he no doubt gave his all for the red and blue at every chance he got. Just a pity his body didn't allow him to do it more often.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - PATRICK MCKENNA

It seems all those talking or Patty coming to Melbourne last year were right, they were just 12 months out! Unless they were talking about a different Patty, surely that isn't the case Welcome to the club Patty. -

I have doubts he will last 3 years at the top as well but I my happiness at him coming isn't really based on his playing ability. His true value to me comes from his leadership and if hits it off with Chunk and the two of them gain a close bond so he can quietly offer advice and help where needed then he will be truly invaluable. I think Lewis will have a good year, and average year, and a not so good year with us playing wise. That is fine though as by his third year we will have the young brigade further developed and taking his mantle anyway, even if he was still at his best. -

I really get the feeling that even winning a flag could make you smile. Maybe two in a row would. -

That was only one of the things they were injected with. Dank had all sorts of stuff going on including horse drugs, no one knows what went where and which players had what! -
Plus Eric the Viking - ocean bound

Co captains is a bit far and would come across as him being yet another messiah for us. Would be a lock for the leadership group and hopefully can be a confidant/mentor for chunck. -

" I looked at every Club in the competition and after going through every list, Melbourne was the one that stood out – if I wasn’t going to be at Hawthorn. It was clear to me that I wanted to play for the Melbourne Football Club" Jordan Lewis on why he joined Melbourne from MFC website. It is nice to hear someone say things like this after many years in the wilderness. And to think people think Roos did nothing for this club! -

Would be no wonder if he was confused considering he is trying to spread butter with his wings while in the ocean!

Where is Salem going? -
Exactly, you actually become more reliable when you can call a change before hand, with a reason, especially if it turns out to be true as it shows you actually are getting reliable information.

The dogs mids aren't that fast, their ball movement is very fast (and not really legal if you ask me) but their leg speed isn't. GWS and Saints are quicker but can be beaten by fast ball movement. Would much prefer good ball users and decision makers than fast players. -

We still have this years second round pick, and maybe a player or two involved. Will mean Hibbard needs to be done with a next year pick. -

No but it would be great to down grade one or both of those, as in our 3rd and fourth for their third and/or fourth. That way we stay in the draft without having to use picks in the hundreds -

Doesn't appear so. Article says he has signed with the dees but a trade will be sorted later today. So as long as a trade can be done then it is done. Late pick is the mail. -
Sicily to GC. Wings fits, ocean fits both with his name and going to GC. No idea with butter.
-
Ballantyne is a brand of butter, he runs around with his arms out to celebrate (wings). Remains ocean bound, either remains at Freo or goes to WC or GC.
-
Cyril Rioli to Gold Coast. There is a butterfly called the 'Cyril's Brown', he has a large set of wings as a tattoo on his chest, he also plays for the Hawks. Lots of butter and wings there. Gold Coast as it is on the ocean and a deal has to happen to get O'Meara. I hope it is as the Hawks supporters will riot if true.

Who knows, they have just done a deal with the saints which I think was all about pick swapping. -
Yes, no doubt.
