  1. And all bought about by the inept AFL Saty, not ASADA. just so you know, ASADA appealed the Saad ban due to it not being 2 years and lost at the AFL, unsurprisingly, they banned Lees for 2 years, they banned the dons for 2 years, and depending on who you read they may or may not have signed off on the Whitfield 6 months. Seems pretty consistent to me.
  2. I have never worked out what TWSNNN is. Not surprised wkik has been edited, it is probably in the PD for one of the staff to make sure there is no mention of it.
  3. Just saw that Jobe has got to keep his All Australian status from 2012. Why am I not surprised the AFl think he cheated enough to get banned, enough to lose the Brownlow, yet no quite enough to lose the AA selection. It makes no sense, he either cheated that year with PED's or he didn't. At least now we know the deal done to get him to give it up! Must go and see the shrink now, I clearly need it as I am expecting sense from the AFL!
  4. I prefer this version by Bill Hicks. "Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the Weather"
  5. Why can't we simply where our normal jumper against the dons? There is no clash there.
  6. It really should be very easy. For clubs that don't clash witht he predominantly blue jumper of our traditional strip then we should be wearing that. That would be most clubs I would think. For clubs that do clash with the traditional strip (Blues, Dogs, Maybe Adelaide and West Coast) then we wear our alternate strip. The alternate strip could be as simple as reversing the blue and red, surely if you clash with Dark Blue then you don't with red!
  7. Ahhhhh, it is AFl mandated that it is white. Fairly sure I remember last year or the year before we put forward the full red jumper and a jumper with the reverse of our traditional jumper, so predominantly red, and were told that red is a dark colour and the away strip has to be a light colour. That is fine if it is the AFL standard but the blow me down they came out and approved the Dons predominantly red jumper a matter of weeks later! F them all.
  8. Ahhhhh, you may want to fact check that and look at what they actually said. I will paraphrase for you. They were asked what they thought of Trumps ideas around trade agreements and putting in place more protection for US workers, they said they backed Trump on this point. That is all, no more no less. So unless you are someone who thinks you have to agree with everything a politician says or none of it, and that there is no grey, there is no nuance, then I would say they don't back Trump, they support one of his policies which is directly related to the running of the business. Even Pauline Hanson occasionally comes out with the good idea or two, I may agree with those points but I will not back her as a whole in any way shape or form. By the way, Sanders and Clinton both held the same view on this as Trump and NB.
  9. May not be allowed to in anti compete clauses with the AFL stores.
  10. A quote from the pile of puss article. " With no pending cases hanging over their heads, that makes now the time for the respective bodies to get together and look at all aspects of the code and in particular, whether it applies to team sport." Really, so no Olympic sports are team sports then, not the hockey, the water polo, the soccer, the handball, the volleyball, etc etc etc. The AFL really are very very stupid, problem is so is much of the population who will not question the comments of the AFL and just go along with them without a critical thought in their head. Here is another one " There are those within football who would like to see the AFL totally disassociate itself from the entire WADA code. They say the willingness of the game and the players to embrace their voluntary illicit drugs policy is an indicator that they would just as rigidly self-police performance-enhancing drug use as well." Do they really think they strongly police their own illicit drug policy? hahahahahahahahahahahaha
  11. Have said it before and will stand by it, If the AFL leave the WADA code then I leave the game. Simple as that.
  12. He misses 8 weeks or so, but still a joke. Saad also bought the drink and drank it, he was done for a positive urine test, he also only got 18 months. You may be thinking of Wade Lees who bought a powder from overseas, never even received the package and yet was banned for 2 years for intent. The banned substance in his case was one ingredient within a protein powder from memory.
  13. I don't, that would ruin my winter skiing!
  14. If you read the hun today Robbo is saying ASADA ticked the deal (not that they agreed to it or had ticked off the deal, just that they ticked the deal. If you read the other article it essentially says ASADA have not made a statement or made clear there intention as one of the sticking points on finally signing the deal for the penalties is a guarantee that ASADA and WADA won't come in over the top. That doesn't sound much like ASADA have 'ticked the deal'. My guess is Robbo is making stuff up again or being told furphy's so he discredits ASADA without it coming straight from the AFL.
  15. Why doesn't it surprise me you are a Holmes fan. That article is massive over reaction. While not a great look for WADA it is hardly damning. Back on topic though, just read an age article on Whitfield which stated that McDevitt had indicated mid last week that he would want happy with an AFL ban. No quotes or context, just that. Seems to fly in the face of his other comment mid last week that he could not have a position until the AFL provided the paper work he had requested.
  16. The real question is has the AFL run it past ASADA yet?
  17. If ASADA agreed to it but why would they agree to an internal AFL issue which is how this was defined by not being a doping breach. As of last week the AFL had not given ASADA all the relevant information, hence my comment. That came out when the AFL tried to pin any delay on ASADA which was promptly replied to by ASADA saying they can't finalise the investigation as the AFL were holding them up. It would surprise me if they ad come to enough of a conclusion in the matter to agree to this in such a short period of time.
  18. If you purposely miss a test you are a cheat. The fact he wasn't due to be tested when he was hiding is irrelevant, the relevant point is he was hiding. The max ban is 4 years. The AFL also have not done ASADA'S job as he does not have a doping violation against his name. This is purely the AFL trying to bury the issue before ASADA do, the AFL haven't even actually allowed ASADA to do their job as they have not supplied all the info (or at least hadn't last week). What's the bet ASADA have a big pile of paper work on the desk in the morning from the AFL now the AFL have acted!
  19. Given it isnt a doping ban he can train for the whole time too. How convenient
  20. Whitfield has reportedly been banned for 6 months while the two other officials got 12 months. All bans under the AFL's disrepute rules, not anti doping violations. When will the bloody AFL learn to leave anti doping matters to ASADA and stop trying to cover things up early! Bloody embarrasing. Will be interested to see if ASADA/WADA come in over the top again and slap the lot of them with bigger bans!
  21. Join the EFC faithful with their heads buried firmly in the sand. I dare say not many people would still have any record of placing a bet 4 years ago, although with online betting I may be wrong, maybe we will see all bet records mysteriously wiped from 2012.
  22. He was asked if he had an opinion on it. He Said, 'no I don't' Of course, off camera he may also have been asked if he thought they should get it.
  23. It was misquoted in the Hun. The video clip and the written quote didn't match.
  24. It is written on the form Saty. Unless the players can't read or ASADA tampered with the forms in a mass conspiracy then that is what was asked. You are still yet to say why you don't trust them with a reasonable reason. They aren't perfect but they are a he'll of a lot closer than the AFL or any alternative.
  25. Here is a statement from ASADA'S website. Athletes must declare any substance used in the last seven days including any substances for which they have a current and valid Therapeutic Use Exemption. Not declaring use may affect results management and have adverse consequences for the athlete.
