POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I'd like to think you'd bypass the black and go from the initial red to the final blue...

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
If there was any 'stealing' going on (and I reckon it's possible, subconsciously if nothing else) it would have been the initial 'Bang!' (thanks @4_Kent_Watts and @BrisbaneDemon) after Oliver's goal. I think Brayshaw is good enough to have instantly mentally rewound the preceding 40 seconds and come up with the triple-treat repeat.

Reckon you timed it exactly right, Chook. In the relaxed, measured voicing we've all been able to apply since the catharsis of 25/9, it would have taken you 7 seconds to say, 'Happy New Year (didn't time it quite right but I'll live!)'. Or for Melbourne to kick the first two goals of 2022...

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
(Coupla days off line and I'm only up to page 100 in my emojing but I'll quote as I go!😁) From BT, I did however like (including for its slight, unsurprising mangle, but not for the fact he interrupted someone to say it) 'I tell you, JB, the crowd level noise here is eee-lectric!'

If The Don* named an Australian Test cricket team...
* The Oxford Don Rev. WA Spooner, that is! As promised, Too-Much-Time-On-Your-Hands-Puzzle-Nerds😉 This team would be considerably more competitive than the VFL/AFL team he named. At least in the current series... 1. Swamp-ed Spanish fishing boat? 2. Crumbs?! 3. She pretends to go up the hill? 4. Tapestry shop? 5. Artist Ken's 'Denim Period'? 6. That man waits in line. 7. Rustle, saying, '______ ___ stones...' 8. Cheese off market? 9. Trick type. 10. Surround Shirley 11. Hay, gathered then cropped! 12th man. 10 marks for German? I wish you the opposite of what William Archibald, quoting me, might appear to wish you: 'Crappy hacking!'

He was closer in the Battle of the Dos, but B Fritsch had his measure there, too.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Gotta stay in the moment, ready for the interactions, when we parade thus, Cards (my 2021 member cap has been somewhat of a fixture 😀) Yesterday - anonymously cap-less this time - I saw a bloke with a Knight Premiers T-shirt and went across to him, pointed to his chest and gave a big thumbs up. Took him several seconds, and another point, to twig.

Round 1 Vs Dogs at Whitten Oval
'Cordner' and 'Tiges' in the same sentence; that's still a 😥for me. But for their exceptional accuracy, Meggs, how do we and they compare on a sample of one?

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
As I posted near the time, waaaaaaay back, somewhere, the mannerism of the hand and the finger at the neck was a hint of a 'disability', and the other bloke a caring brother or some such. The 'age' of the reaction didn't seem to align with the 'age' of the person. Regardless, it was an iconic moment, speaking volumes for us all, whatever our emotional or physical ages. Thank you, sir.

VOTES: AFLW Rd 1 vs Western Bulldogs
Can't argue with the maths! I'd then be 5. Birch 4. Zanker 3. L.Pearce 2. Hanks 1. Lampard

Is it time to reset the Chris Sullivan line?
8 goals then. That's about 4 goals in AFLW terms then. I think I was feeling it tonight. Made me realise '25/9' hasn't totally washed away the mixed-metaphor scars...

Is it time to reset the Chris Sullivan line?
Thanks! I think...

Is it time to reset the Chris Sullivan line?
@Delusional demon 82, could you elaborate on why it's the Chris Sullivan line?

If The Rev* named a Dees team...
Thanks, Mazer. And this here banjoist (he-yuk!) apologises for the esoteric banjo playing style reference and also for falling for strumpet to go with strum.

It's there, Boy. Well done. I've contributed.

VOTES: AFLW Rd 1 vs Western Bulldogs
In a 16 a side comp, can we do 3,2,1? I'm not so good at this but 3. Birch 2. Zanker 1. L.Pearce

Agree on handball. Kicking for distance not so much - see my earlier post re possession game, which bemused commentators. I think Dees actually leading the women's comp into the next upskilled iteration.

If The Rev* named a Dees team...
4. 1978 3-gamer MICK REA - 'Hay, gathered' = 'rick' / 'May' > Mea (as in O'Dea, I hope!) 9. New Immortal BAYLEY FRITSCH (you were there @Mazer Rackham!) - 'Banjo-strummy' = 'fraily' / 'strumpet' is the dodgy synonym for female canine...) Thanks for playing, @Mazer Rackham Gold, @mo64 Silver, and @Demonstone Bronze. Hope you're better, @WalkingCivilWar, and thanks for watching, @Fanatique Demon Contemplating a cricket one. Tell me I shouldn't!...
