  1. Be the most Melbourne thing that the funding dries up before we get our turn and after every other club gets there state of the art facilities
  2. Players play with injuries all the time and you would never know, he will be hampered but so will a number of players from both sides
  3. If it’s not getting worse then he’s still better than whoever would come in to replace.
  4. As critical of ANB over the journey as anyone but props to him for the game tonight. Seems the forgotten man when listening to the media post game
  5. 1332 km Melbourne to Wuddina
  6. Tomlinson auto in for may, then just a question of who for lever if he misses. Going to be 31 and dry in Adelaide on Saturday so another tall would probably be the way to go. Fullarton would be my pick then JVR can stay fwd. all assuming petty would stay back in that case
  7. Costly win if lever and may out for the next few
  8. Can see lever on the sideline looks fine
  9. Well guess I can’t be to upset with dees last 2 years after seeing cats and pies now implode after a flag, we cop it more despite that
  10. So we plan on running Gawn into the ground again it seems, none of the other talls are going to give him enough chop
  11. Don’t think any of the outs will be to shocked, Tomlinson did nothing to demand a spot, if he is supposed to free up lever and may that failed, better if have them be more accountable and bring in another runner
  12. If it happens we should demand Max Holmes as part of any trade
  13. Window is shut, we are already behind the best teams and will continue to slip slowly until we need to rebuild in 4-5 years time and we can then start all over again, I was hoping we would be able to sustain like cats and swans have over a long period of time but I just don’t see it happening. Maybe in 10-12 years time we might do better. I just hope I don’t need to wait nearly 60 years
  14. Maybe the fall off in the last qtr can be blamed on loading again, nothing to see here
  15. Swans smashed us round the ball with a team nominally missing the 3 of there best midfielders and swans are a below average team in the regard even if they had a full complement. Don’t delude yourself and think this will get any easier
  16. Can’t believe so many ppl put stock is last weeks performance. We aren’t playing finals this year. Our window for a flag is over
  17. Long as he can find a permanent spot in the midfield I think he will stay, only reason to go would be for more opportunity like James Jordan last year
  18. Wish it could be quantified beyond points against but seems more than a coincidence we concede less when he is down back with may and lever
  19. Salem in the midfield love to see that continue, shocking he’s never had a run at it till now. Don’t like Tomlinson down back but maybe he allows may and lever to play there roles Schache as a fwd looked as good as I’ve seen, ruck not so much but I’ll take what I can get. Sparrow looks like he will go another level. Windsor looks like he will have an immediate impact so another good pick by the recruiting team.
  20. So tmac played down back? Saw he was named on the bench for the main game
  21. Sure going into 21 no one expected it but post has been a let down, dogs haven’t once finished top 4 under beverage in the home and away, no one could honestly think they should be a multi premiership team based on that, they probably have over achieved in even getting 1. This is about getting the most out of your self when you have the chance and in that regard this team has failed post 21
  22. If we don’t win another it would be the biggest fail I’ve ever seen for a team to not follow up. Dogs 2016 doesn’t compare as that was out of nowhere, Wc 2018 and Cats 2022 were end of era flags. Pies 2010 and Bombers 2000 would come close but both were unlucky with there timing with Lions and Cats been the dominant teams of the era. These last 2 years were there for us to win if we didn’t fall on our face and our window might now be over. That or we were never that good to begin with and just got lucky
  23. Hope he takes the AFL and Maynard to the cleaners, it won’t fix what happened but it’s the only way they can send a message this can’t be accepted

So everything is fine, anyone that isn’t onboard this train is just holding us back. We should just put the blinkers on and not question our reality or talk about the PR spin that comes from the club

Hard to unite behind the team when the more that is exposed the worse it gets. Without breaking any rules of this forum the club and most supporters collectively have their heads in the sand.
