  1. If you look at his legs in the training pics, they are tree trunks for an 18 year old, look at lachie neales legs. Could be a good pick by JT
  2. Agree with your synopsis, the plus to me is that we may now have a coach who is not overly loyal to a few players and may not be afraid to make changes during a match, should things not work to his liking. Some players may get an extended run of games to prove themselves rather than come in for 1 or 2 games as the sub and them dumped the following week never to be seen again during the season. Not expecting finals next year, but an improvement on the 6 close losses in season 2025, which Petracca and Oliver both played in, and Kossie playing in the first round, next season may make next season worth watching. We may finish in the middle bracket next year, here's hoping. Just my opinion.
  3. Need to chuck in 2027 MFC 1st, suns will ask for the 2028 1st round as well, are we prepared for that. Suns 2026 1st rounder will probably be pick 15 after more academy kids are bid on.
  4. King came to the club with a no DH policy, didn't want Oliver, but wanted to keep Petracca.
  5. what a waste of the last 2 pages !
  6. Thought this thread was about training, start your own thread about Culley
  7. Looks like we most probably have pick 33, if you follow Cal Twomey's phantom, which would leave us the 3rd pick on the second night of the draft. We may have these names left on the draft board, according to Cal, Greeves, Hibbin Hargreaves, Phillipou, Loudowyke, Leray, Onely, BOB and to many others to mention. Thoughts on who else may be left. Without Sinemma being nominated, we also now have a vacant rookie spot, maybe for a train on player, or does pick 63 (late 50's) come into play!
  8. Neither does Gryan Miers !
  9. Has anyone heard anything about Toby recently, the silence seems to be deafening. Maybe we may pass on him after the ND, and see what is left over for rookying in his reserved spot?
  10. Try this site 2025 AFL Draft Profiles - Aussie Rules Rookie Me Central
  11. Think the media pays more!
  12. Isn't Pickett 19 years old, turned 19 in August 2025
  13. Can't see a bid for white until after the 40's, not on any phantom draft I've seen, needs 2 years in a gym before he comes good, anyone bidding on White early may worry that they'll get him.
  14. Why would you do that !, if JT wants those 2 he will use 7/8 on them
  15. Why would we turn 3 picks into 4 when we don't have room on the list, we only have 5 vacancies, including rookie drafting of White and Sinemma, which leaves us with only 3 picks in the ND
  16. Shades of Jefferson
  17. Is there actually room on our list for this guy, we would have to move AMW onto the A rookie list as we would have 3 cat B rookies otherwise, O. Berry, AMW and McDonald. With only 5 spots across the list to fill 7, 8 and 37, rookie White and Sinemma, we would only use 7 and 8 and forgo pick 37 (on-trade for a future F2nd) or use it on White maybe. Not sure how they will make it work. Making LSP a misnomer.
  18. We lost 6 games by 11 points or under last year, providing King manages some improvement in game style and kicking better into the forward line, I think there is every possibility we could win more than 10 games next year with improvement from the kids and inclusions of Mihocek and Steel.
  19. Sure I've read this somewhere else !
  20. This was commented on in the answers to his draft later on in the replies. Agree, we need a small forward and a running half Back, Will leave it to JT. Wasn't posting the phantom draft for our club alone, the guy has done some good work on the early bids and points cost on academy kids and where their later picks go. He has also covered all 18 clubs and does not profess to know the ins and outs of all club lists.
  21. Eth-dog's phantom draft is pretty good, goes through all the bidding machinations and points cost, worth a look. Phantom Draft - eth-dog's 2025 Phantom | BigFooty Forum Has us taking Schubert and Cumming
  22. Our pick 66 will come in massively, with Gold Coast for instance, their 3 Acadamy picks will take up at least their 7 first picks, Brissy, Essendon and Carlton will also lose picks, so 66 might end up being 52 or 53, which should be enough points, if White gets an earlier bid. Correct Weight, should end up being 52 as you say.
  23. With Woey's delisting Pick 37 now comes into play, maybe Taylor and Lamb can do some wizardry to get down to pick 30ish to nab Latrelle Pickett or others ?
  24. Unfortunately every pick over 60 is worth zero points. They can go into deficit in next years draft, might put the GCS pick back a couple of picks
