  1. My comments are based on their current form, we can't predict the future. See you then buddy.
  2. Location and we matched up well against them. We played really well in Adelaide last year. We play them in Alice Springs round 9 this year so we should expect another good game.
  3. I think they are both suited to the outside midfielder/forward
  4. Both of these players don't get enough of the contested ball and don't impact the game enough to be a certainty for our best 22, sure they have all the talent in the world off the ground but at the moment I don't think we can play both of these at the same time, it's either one or the other for me at this stage.
  5. What about leaving Hogan out of the NAB cup and just debut him round 1?Can anyone imagine how bad it would be for Hogan to go down in the NAB cup, seriously I wouldn't play him, the NAB cup is a joke.
  6. He will get the ball if is it served to him on a platter, winning the hard ball or contested ball is not in his DNA, he will never be a Shaun Burgoyne!!!
  7. So why don't we support a team like Hawthorn, their supporters get to watch the team win for free....whoever thought of this idea should be ashamed of themselves and the I feel sorry for the people who have supported this idea, sure their hearts are in the right place, but it's a poor way to raise money.
  8. Bit of topic there mate, msg me if you like.
  9. Would it be something you would do again, or just a one off thing?
  10. Has anyone made a pledge to the club? Personally I think it is a ridiculous way to raise money, our 4 wins in 2014 would of just covered the cost to set up the idea and pay for advertising.
  11. Grimes, Dunn, Jetta Howe Tmcdonald Lumumba M Jones N Jones Bail Pederson Watts Garlett Kent Hogan JKH Jamar, Tyson, Vince Bench: Viney, Cross......? Sub: Salem On the cusp..Garland/ Frost/Terlich/Toumpas/Gawn Dawes out round 1
  12. If the reduction in weight results in an extra length of speed it will be great, it might be a point of difference which gives them an edge over their opponents.
  13. And then, if we had drafted Wines, we might of won 8 games last season and would currently have 30,000 members signed up.
  14. I'm not trying to talk myself up but this once happened to me. Ruck man tapped the ball to me in the midfield, with some momentum I threw it on the boot and kicked it high to a contest about 35m from our goal, I sprinted to the contest and after I couple of fumbles by others I won the ball again and kicked it through for a goal. Within a minute we were back in the middle ready to go again I'm just putting an emphasis on how simple football can be.
  15. If we had of drafted Wines, perhaps we would have won more games in 2014 and then we wouldn't of had the draft picks enabling us to get Petracca and Brayshaw...
  16. I think Howe can be more damaging up forward because of his leap, he will be a huge problem for defenders once we can move the ball quickly and fluently into our forward line.
  17. Another positive for Salem is that he was considered the best kick in his draft pool, the fact that he kicked the winning goal against Essendon last year just emphasises the importance of it.
  18. Exactly, because if we were to choose a team from training reports, it would seem Shannon Byrnes would be getting a game ahead of Viney. Viney's statistics are impressive for his first two years... Average disposals 17.5(2013) & 19.9(2014) Average tackles 4.2(2013) & 4.4(2014) And he has played 33 games in his first two seasons and should played his 50th later this year.
