  1. Simple mistakes cost us and Fremantle were great on the rebound and attack that quarter, Walters was so dominant that quarter, don't know who was on him but perhaps Jetta should have been put on him. One goal to Fremantle came from a Tyson kick out of the back flank into the centre to a leading Pederson, who dropped the easy chest mark on the lead (great kick by Tyson) which resulted in a quick turnover and goal. Simple mistake.
  2. I Was simply stating that there are also people who haven't signed up for memberships, who are die hard supporters. Just because they don't buy a membership does not mean they are casual supporters! After a 4 win season you can't blame those die hard supporters for prioritising other things in their life. So settle down RPFC !
  3. Just because people don't support the club financially definitely does not rule them out from being a die hard supporter, that's laughable.
  4. Do you mean sticking with the club financially? Or just because I haven't renewed my membership I don't deserve to enjoy the good times...? Ifour wins is all the boys can dish up, then other things get priority. Yeh. It's that simple. Even coming from a die hard supporter.
  5. I was simply saying that there are also die hards supporters who haven't signed up yet, just because they haven't bought or renewed their memberships doesn't make the "casual"
  6. There are also die hards who have refused to sign up on the back of a 4 win season, for some that is acceptable, but for others it is not.
  7. Pretty difficult being a forward to our style of play over the last few years, last year high possession low inside 50's is not easy for a forward, Dawes' tackling and pressure has been great, but we haven't had the midfield a for him to get a couple of easy marks and goals, they will come in time
  8. Nah it's not to early to predict the list management, heaps of people say if Watts doesn't step up this year we should cut him loose, there are heaps of others in the same boat as Watts.
  9. This is really bad recruiting, the younger guys drafted seem pretty decent, but we were pretty desperate to get these guys who were on the way out.
  10. I think another big clean out is a good thing for the club, someone suggested it might not be done under the current leadership, but I think the current leadership are prepared to make big changes. Pederson, Bail, M Jones, Grimes, Watts and Garland seem to be players that half of us think deserve their spot on the list and there other half of us don't. I wouldn't be suprised to see Garland move on, but his experience is what splits him from our other defenders, having lost Frawley and Rivers. Big year ahead for all of them.
  11. Brisbane last year 7 wins percentage 69 , Melbourne 4 wins average 68. Percentage doesn't matter as much as wins/loss. Or compare Brisbane to Carlton, both 7 wins, Brisbane percentage 69, Carlton 90. Both had poor years.
  12. Has he put on any muscle since he started training? I have high hopes for him, I reckon he is one of those types who isn't a stand out at training but once he crosses that line it's a completely different story.
  13. 4-6 wins will be a massive negative for the club, seriously that is a bad year, that would mean 10 wins in 2 years for Paul Roos, that would not be good.
  14. So if he was given a game as sub in round one, played up forward for a quarter or so. Do you think he would look out of place or do you think he could hold his feet in a contest? Thats what will matter.
  15. Just let him train, he is on our list until 2016, that's almost 2 years away and here we are before the 2015 season has started asking him about going to WC. I think we should let him concentrate on training. One thing about extending his contract means that he is happy where he is.
  16. Someone mentioned Brayshaw looked thin compared to Dom Tyson who is around the same weight and that Brayshaw looked small compared to the other players. So I made a reference to JKH who is probably the smallest player on our list who had no problem competing last year, so I don't think Brayshaw's size will be an issue. That has nothing to do with what position they both play in, for all we know Brayshaw might play forward this year same like JKH. My point had nothing to do with what position the they play, just comparing their size, ok.
  17. So my point being, if JKH can play 14 good games in his first season at 72 or 68 kg, Brayshaw should be ready to go at 84kg.
  18. 6 wins is not much better than 4 in my view. Realisticly 8 wins is pass mark, it is double from 2014, but I would still be disappointed in this. 10 wins and I would be satisfied.
  19. If Hunt and Harmes can get a game ahead of Newton and Michie, Brayshaw etc then they deserve a spot on the list, if they have solid years at Casey then they deserve a spot on the list, we will know at the end of the year.
  20. Hunt, King and Harmes should be given more time but I would like the current leadership to make an early call with these guys.
  21. Take Georgiou and Clisby for example only 1 & 2 years on the list, under the previous leadership i suspect these two would still be on the list but under the current leadership these two are done.We still have many players who were drafted from 2007-2011 who could be turned over Spencer, Mckenzie, Fitzpatrick these guys haven't had much success in their careers and wouldn't get games with other clubs. If Max King, James Harmes, Jayden Hunt don't show that they are going to make it this year I wouldn't be suprised to see them gone also. The current leadership is making harsh but better decisions than previous leadership which is causing stability not instability. At the end of the year turned over players might be Cross retired Spencer Fitzpatrick Mckenzie Terlich Harmes Hunt King I don't think any of these guys are really going to be good AFL players and the current leadership is making the right decisions.
  22. We have the recruiters to thank for this, they plucked this bloke from the middle of nowhere. He wasn't even selected in the WA under 18s. But our recruiters didn't take much notice of this and they backed themselves in what they saw. We spent draft pick 48 on him and if he really wants to leave the club who have given him an opportunity, that will say a lot about Kent. Whether he stays or goes, well done to the recruiters.
  23. Even though we haven't seen Brayshaw play yet, I would take him over Frawley. Brayshaw could potentially be a 10-15 year midfielder for us. Frawley is a solid defender, but we will be fine without him as we saw last year with him up forward. No loss
