I this max is great leader. Mongrel, as useful as it can be at times is, I think, overrated. I do wonder if it’s a team ethos or direction to not get too engaged with that sort of behaviour on field though as there are times when you would like to see something especially with max. I have to think he’s told everyone to leave it to him.

Everyone’s opinion is based on nothing though and we are arguing as if our lives are on the line. My question is what is the point of being so passionate about something you’ve essentially made up.

How could anything be abundantly clear to you with anything relating to this unless you come along with an opinion already formed based on one person who is bad at their jobs reporting and then use silence as confirmation of your opinion when in reality it is confirmation of nothing. You can’t possibly be sure of anything until you hear all sides. For all you know the club is just choosing to be careful with how and when they respond. This wouldn’t be the first time that was so. We’ve been through this when Brayshaw was considering his contract and with clarry more recently. Mostly it just ends up being people jumping at shadows and or silence and making the fatal error of listening to a journalist who is at the bottom of the pile of junk that is afl journalism. The argument that silence says everything is only ever confirmation bias.

I can’t afford these things either. Those peoples financial contributions are very useful for the club, whether they go or not. We are due a good run with injuries and with that anything is possible. Some teams that look good and or promising this year will fall. Some will surprise. Some will disappoint. I think we are still right in it if things go our way. Things going our way being the hardest part as it’s out of our hands. Fingers crossed.

That’s true of almost everyone in the afl. They are trained to do it. I would argue goodwin isn’t very good at it at all.
