  1. Oliver and Fritsch? Our best mid and best forward?
  2. Based on what? A bunch if people who know nothing and their speculation/dreams?
  3. Longmire has to go after this
  4. All you over the top negative Nancies remember how Goodwin was first in line to get sacked after 2020. Things change fast. Things like list management can go from looking terrible to genius within a season. Think about how little midfield we had most of the year. Ponder and meditate on the idea and then think about how on earth we realistically could have done anymore than we did this year. Then think about why you expect more out of what is essentially no midfield at all. Now is that the coaches fault or the list managers fault? Is it just luck and a really tough game that they play? [censored] happens boys and girls. Let’s get fresh and go again with a better draw next year and some nice sunday arvo games.
  5. Haha. Buckley. You’re kidding. Could it be that we are playing a lot of young and injured players and they just don’t have what it takes right now. It doesn’t need to be some Over the top declaration. It’s never as good or as bad as it seems. Bulldogs were no good last year. We beat Sydney twice last year. We almost beat Brisbane a few weeks ago. [censored] Buckley. You are a genius.
  6. He won’t go, but if Oliver gets traded, I quit.
  7. I’m glad I hit the mark. I’m not serious. I just find the question annoying so I played into stereotypes. There’s many ways to support the club, not going doesn’t make you less. I go all the time, like a lot of the rabble on here.
  8. Comparative to what? Our whole midfield is injured, retired, underdone. Except maybe Viney. Rivers doesn’t count cause he just became a midfielder
  9. Unfortunately for our club our members and supporters have far more complete and full lives than some clubs, who have prayed on the poor for decades. Sucking out whatever dole or pension money they have and indoctrinating them into their cult getting them to show up when any sane person wouldn’t bother because football is the sun to which their life revolves around. Our supporters are too intelligent and too interesting to expose themselves to a cold, wet night where the umpiring was mediocre at best and the league is being run by a bunch of George Orwell post truth, there are no rules we are the rules sit down and do what you’re told types. The afl doesn’t respect its supporters so why should we respect them. There’s many things that are far more enjoyable than sitting at the mcg in the cold and wet.
  10. Injuries and retirements are responsible for this.
  11. The afl media landscape has trained us to be incredibly shallow and binary in our analysis. We should be surprised when people show depth in their analysis, not the other way around. It takes a brave man to look for context in this modern afl world.
  12. It’s clearly a trend though.
  13. I miss being the expected score kings
  14. None of that is true. You’re just upset.
  15. He ain’t leaving.
  16. He will win next years b and f
  17. Wrong party
  18. You install an obedient propaganda arm that appears seperate but is not. You continue to value profit above everything else and then let the riff raff yell and scream as they will while You laugh and pity them from your ivory tower. you are essentially unaccountable for your poor decisions and stewardship of the game. You view the general fan as a peasant who wouldn’t know what’s best for them and slowly degrade a game many people have loved for a long time.
  19. Could you be more condescending, champ. some people aren’t used to having their views questioned or being told no. Buddy.
  20. I agree. I think he’s having an off year. Two actually. He’s had some good moments due to his class but hes clearly not even half the player he was. I do think it’s worth holding judgement though. If it continues next year then I’m with you. Patrick Cripps has had years he’s struggled when he’s been injured and had less help around him. But look at him/them at the moment.
  21. Or into metaphor
  22. I’m not attacking you. It’s a feature of internet forums to feel like there’s a pile on. Everyone here should know that by now. To me Clarry playing is great. He offers more than anyone who could replace him and will be better for having played the year. But to expect him to be what he has been previously is unreasonable given the circumstances/context of the last year of his life. They are just people running around out there.
  23. It’s good to be king
  24. I don’t think it will happen till next season.
