  1. It looks like the losers of the qualifying finals will have to travel to Tasmania next week due to quarantine rules. If there was not incentive to win already! "The AFL currently has a fly-in, fly-out model operating with Tasmania, but keeping teams in the state would provide greater flexibility to travel onwards to Queensland, South Australia or Western Australia with no or less restrictive quarantine protocols for week two matches". Further finals could also be held in Tasmania in week two. “Week one of the finals, we’ve fixtured those outside of Victoria,” AFL fixturing boss Travis Auld said on Monday. “It’s highly likely we’ll keep those teams on the road and fixture week two outside of Victoria. That gives us optionality beyond that.” Article here: AFL finals ticket information: Schedule, fixture, match times, how to get tickets | Herald Sun
  2. The Crows didnt complain when they finished higher and played Richmond at the G in a GF. Given the current circumstances I dont see what the problem is.
  3. Swans are the real smokey, I would not be surprised if they made the Prelim.
  4. Great post and I have similar sentiments, have followed them for 30 years now. Did the get an email from the club? The pre sale opens at 2pm tomorrow. A mate of mine who works at Adelaide Oval management is confident the capacity will be increased to 20,000, it needs to be ticked off but the Govt and hopefully will be announced Tuesday morning.
  5. We have room in our household mate, can you smuggle over?
  6. An Adelaide 7 day forecast is as reliable as a Politicians word. I would not be too concerned.

  8. And out again, crazy game.
  9. Well so much for a close game.
  10. And Umpire Margetts!
  11. Agree completely. If the Dogs do beat Port we will finish no worse than second hence I see no issue resting Max, Salem and or Kozzy. I would also give May and TMac another week off. Having fresh players in the finals will be key.
  12. Port are not that good and cant see them beating the Dogs next week. I would not worry about them.
  13. Hence I see nothing wrong with "managing" a couple of players this weekend.
  14. The West Coke Eagle has given up, were home:
  15. Where has 1st quarter Melbourne gone?
  16. I think Matthew Whelan, Steven May, Kozzy Pickett and Neville Jetta would be pretty disappointed if we recruited him.
  17. If he is any good could we not just execute a trade which gets us a top 20 pick?
  18. Thinking on my VIC comrads, this really f----n sucks.
  19. Eagles losing makes it a perfect weekend, take that Meth Coke!
  20. Game over, well played Swans. Top of the tree again!
  21. Glad to say you might be wrong, surely cant lose from here.
  22. 6. Petracca 5. Salem 4. McDonald 3. May 2. Oliver 1. Petty
  23. Best Top 8 bullies in the league!!
