  1. I'm predicting a 10 goal belting. Essendon just got over easy beats Sydney by 4 points while Melbourne just smashed Gold Coast by 49 points. Possible team B: Birch, Gillard HB: Goldrick, Lampard, Heath C: Mithen, Purcell, Paxman HF: Hore, Zanker, Bannan F: D.Pearce, Harris FOLL: L.Pearce, Hanks, West IC: Sherriff, Fitzsimon, Mackin, Wilson, Brown I'm dropping Duffy needs to drop some weight. Doesn't look fit enough.
  2. Gawn has to play up forward as well it will be too top heavy. If they want to play Petty up forward they have to forget about T.Mac playing which I don't think they will.
  3. The side a little bit weaker with L.Pearce, Goldrick and Sherriff out but they still should get it done comfortably against the Suns.
  4. It's got me stuffed why teams pick up tried coaches? Ratten done nothing at the Blues gets a gig. Why? The inevitable happens and he gets the sack. Some teams are just clueless. Watch Carlton go down the [censored] shoot with Voss in charge. Brad.Scott was just an embarrassment. FAILED COACHES DONT WORK
  5. I don't think we are too top heavy up forward as Fritsch can play medium small. Gawn, JVR, T.Mac as the talls. Pickett, Fritsch, Neal-Bullen and Chandler play as medium to smalls. Just like the backline. Lever, May and Petty play tall. Bowey, Brayshaw, Salem and J.Smith play medium to small.
  6. I wonder if Southport will try and pick him up? Sad to see Oskar go but the opportunities weren't there unfortunately for Baker. Good luck
  7. 1 May 2 Hunter 3 Salem 4 Harmes 5 Petracca 6 Grundy 7 Viney 8 Lever 9 Spargo 10 Brayshaw 11 Gawn 12 Schache 13 Oliver 14 Hibberd 15 Langdon 16 Laurie 17 Bowey 18 Melksham 19 Chandler 20 Tomlinson 21 van Rooyen 22 Howes 23 Jordon 24 Rivers 25 McDonald 26 Turner 27 Dunstan 28 Woewodin 29 J.Smith 30 Neal-Bullen 31 Fritsch 32 Sparrow 33 Moniz-Wakefield 34 D.Smith 35 Petty 36 Pickett 37 Pick 13 38 Pick 37 39 Emile-Brennan 40 - Rookie A 41 McVee 42 Rookie A 43 Rookie A 50 Brown
  8. Well trade week is done and dusted and I think we done pretty well with Hunter and Grundy for bargain picks. We have pick 13 and 37 which is as good a deal as your gonna get for the Weid. We also have plenty of picks for next year. I can see us winning the next 3 Premierships with this list. Seniors B: Lever, May, Bowey HB: Brayshaw, Petty, Salem C: Langdon, Petracca, Hunter HF: Pickett, van Rooyen, Neal-Bullen F: Fritsch, McDonald, Gawn FOLL: Grundy, Oliver, Viney IC: Harmes, Sparrow, Chandler, J.Smith SUB: Spargo Casey B: D.Smith, Turner, Hibberd HB: McVee, Tomlinson, Rivers C: Howes, Dunstan, Woewodin HF: Melksham, Pick 13, Laurie F: Moniz-Wakefield, Brown, Spargo FOLL: Schache, Jordon, Pick 37 IC: Rookie A, Rookie A, Rookie A, Emile-Brennan Rookie B I expect Baker to be delisted now we have picked up Hunter.
  9. Harris receives third MOTY nomination (melbournefc.com.au) AFLCA RD7 | Seven Dees feature against Dogs (melbournefc.com.au) AFLW | Eliza McNamara | First run back (melbournefc.com.au)
  10. Melbourne should continue on their fine form with what should be a comfortable win against the Suns which is on Saturday 15th of October 7:40 pm. Gold Coast's form hasn't been too bad with 3 wins in the last 4 games winning their last game by 34 points against bottom of the ladder Sydney. While Melbourne has been in red hot form just belting the Bulldogs by 64 points. I'm predicting the Dees to get up by 6 goals. Possible team B: Birch, Gillard HB: Goldrick, Lampard, Heath C: Mithen, Hanks, Paxman HF: Bannan, Zanker, Hore F: D.Pearce, Harris Foll: Caris, Purcell, West IC: Duffy, Chaplin, Fitzsimon, Mackin, Sherriff Not sure if Gay gets up for this one if she does she replaces Chaplin. L.Pearce has concussion so more likely Caris the raw ruckman will get her chance.
  11. How exciting will it be to do a best 23 instead of a best 22. It's got the tent up.
  12. Smith is a very iffy forward showed more down back thought he would play as the 7th back with the luxury of using him forward. Tomlinson won't get a game completely useless that's why no one wants him. Turner will get a game way before him very backward thinking by the football dept is thinking that way. van Rooyen has to be unleashed to good not to be unleashed.
  13. West Coast are the problem they are a shambles. Gave the world for an ordinary player in Kelly but won't give pick 2 away for Jackson. Why do they want to divide pick 2 just to show how retarded they are? There is a player in Jackson that would automatically improve the side and they don't want him. Second worst run side in the comp behind Essendon.
  14. AFLW Injury Update | Round 7 (melbournefc.com.au) Hopefully Sherriff can be back.
  15. Vote | Another Mark of the Year nomination for Harris (melbournefc.com.au)
  16. This should be a tougher match against the Bulldogs 3:10 Sunday October 9 at Casey. The Bulldogs have just come off 2 losses after being undefeated in the first for weeks while Melbourne have lost 1 game for the year and that was to Brisbane. The Dees beat Fremantle by 30 points last week while the Bulldogs lost by a point to Geelong. I expect Sherriff to be back this week and that should be the only change. Possible team B: Birch, Gillard HB: Goldrick, Gay, Heath C: Mithen, Purcell, Paxman HF: Hore, Zanker, Bannan F: D.Pearce, Harris FOLL: L.Pearce, West, Hanks IC: Sherriff, Lampard, Mackin, Duffy, Fitzsimon
  17. Why the hell would he go to Essendon they are a lost cause. Picked the worst coach infighting. North are a better destination club. I'm calling BS. With him out of the side our depth would be rubbish. Dunstan that's it. We need Harmes don't throw the baby out with the bathwater
  18. Hunt's gone to West Coast and Bedford will soon be following him out the door to GWS. I'll do a rolling 44 after the trade period.
  19. If we don't pick up a key position forward with our first pick I will cry.
  20. WERRIDEE replied to DeeZee's topic in Melbourne Demons
He played the Grand Final down back and was great. I'm predicting him to be our big improver. He's more than due not to get injured.
  21. Kossie will be going nowhere.
  22. Great win by the girls they were challenged by a strong team and responded like a good team does and won comfortably in the end. Bowers was great for Freo while Harris, West, Purcell and Hanks were outstanding for the Dees. Dees grind out win in the west (melbournefc.com.au) AFLW | RD 6 | Kate Hore post-match (melbournefc.com.au) AFLW Team Song: Melbourne (melbournefc.com.au) AFLW | RD 6 | Mick Stinear post-match (melbournefc.com.au)
  23. My life he can retire when I'm dead.
  24. WERRIDEE replied to DeeZee's topic in Melbourne Demons
As long as they don't play the 2 key forwards set up, it rarely worked. Gawn can play forward but they need him with 2 of van Rooyen, McDonald or B.Brown only going with one of them cost us the final against Brisbane. B: Lever, May, Bowey HB: Brayshaw, Petty, Salem C: Langdon, Petracca, Jordon HF: Pickett, van Rooyen, Neal-Bullen F: Fritsch, McDonald, Gawn FOLL: Grundy, Oliver, Viney IC: Harmes, Sparrow, Chandler, J.Smith SUB: Spargo
  25. I want him coach for life. He's won us a premiership that I never thought I would see so I am forever grateful to Goodwin and the 22 players that won us the premiership in 2021.
