  2. They should have 24 teams 2 divisions VFL Casey Box Hill Williamstown Footscray Port.Melbourne Northern Sandringham Collingwood Geelong Essendon Richmond North.Melbourne AFL Sydney Brisbane Gold Coast GWS Adelaide Port.Adelaide Glenelg Sturt West Coast Claremont South Fremantle Subiaco Each team plays each other once and 7 teams play each other twice. A top 4 in each division. 1 play 4 and 2 plays 3. The winners play each other for their division premiership. The 2 winners play it out for the outright premiership
  3. VFL | Star power in for Coburg clash (melbournefc.com.au) 16 Melbourne listed players that's a strong side.
  4. Ben Brown wouldn't be playing anyhow. He was ****house against Willy. In : Petty Out: Tomlinson Joel.Smith the sub.
  5. Our premier forward is Fritsch. Our premier key forward is Brown but that's not saying much I don't think our key forwards have set the world a light as yet. Brown was unlucky to be out with covid but it's a tough team to break into and I was hoping he would show a bit more form not to touch it in the first half is not acceptable. Weideman needs a bit more time to show his wares while I think Brown has to show he really wants it. Time will tell.
  6. He's better than Weideman but I don't think he's a player that comes straight in. Weideman wasn't bad enough to be dropped without Brown showing form. Brown never touched it in the first half. Weideman will have to play a game as bad as his Collingwood game last year without Brown showing any form. If Brown plays well he's in but he didn't, I'm confident Weideman will stay in the side and Brown won't be playing but we will just have to to selection time against GWS.
  7. Tomlinson surely will be dropped. Ben.Brown was playing for his spot just like every VFL player. There is not much difference between Weideman and Brown. People are acting like his form was fantastic in the AFL it was just ok. He didn't touch it in the first half, didn't do enough for mine. Don't be surprised to see Weideman starting against GWS.
  8. Well he had a lot better last quarter but I personally think Weid keeps his spot. The question is who replaces Tomlinson? Does Petty come in straight away or does Joel.Smith take his spot. Personally I'd give Petty one more week in the 2's. Joel.Smith for mine.
  9. Weideman has to keep his spot with the way Brown is playing.
  10. Bad luck girls loved Goldrick and Gay's game the rest ordinary. Zanker has been hopeless all year, if we are to be a better side next year she should be traded.
  11. Fantastic defensive effort tonight. To keep them to 1 goal for 3 quarters is a fantastic effort. Gawn's best game for the year. (Steamin's bagging fired him up). Jordon's best career game and Sparrow just gets better and better.
  12. In : J.Smith, B.Brown Out : Tomlinson, Weideman I agree with this. J.Smith in for Tomlinson he's too slow and not that good overhead. B.Brown in for Weideman didn't play bad but didn't play well either. 0 goals hurts him, McDonald not going much better either if van Rooyen finds some form in the VFL watch out. Massive game for Big Ben against Willy must destroy them.

  14. Should change your name to steamin [censored] with these comments
  15. Great game a joy to watch. Like the look of Rosman down back, brings him in the game. Baker gave us drive, Chandler played well and Daw did well in the ruck, the rest were pretty even.
  16. 6 Bannon 5 Paxman 4 Colvin 3 Goldrick 2 Heath 1 L.Pearce
  17. No change surely they played a great game looking forward to the grand final. How good is Bannon?
  18. Lever is the player we need. Struggled against tall forwards the last 2 weeks, May needs help and Lever is the man I think Tomlinson will be the one dropped. Weideman can't go out of the side after that performance which means McDonald could be dropped which is a possibility for Big Ben.
  19. Ben Brown definitely won't play only a 6 day break needs 7. I say no change.
  20. I thought our first half was terrible really let them in the game when we should have been further in front. The second half was a lot better. We need to be better if we want to be a top 4 side. We definitely haven't hit our peak yet just doing what we have to do. Kudos to Weideman thought he was cooked after the VFL game but he proved me wrong great game would have been even better if he kicked straight early.
  21. 6 Oliver 5 Brayshaw 4 Weideman 3 Langdon 2 Gawn 1 Harmes
  22. Hunt very lucky to be in the side.
  23. If we were to cull now who would we cull? I think we will do the minimum culling and that would be 3. My picks to be culled at the end of the year would be Melksham, Baker and Rosman. Thoughts?
  24. I think our best side is B: Lever, May, Salem HB: Brayshaw, McDonald, Bowey C: Langdon, Petracca, Jordon HF: Neal-Bullen, Jackson, Pickett F: Fritsch, B.Brown, Spargo FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Rivers, Harmes, Sparrow, M.Brown SUB: Dunstan I think we struggled against Gold Coast because we didn't go with what worked against the Bulldogs and that was McDonald to CHB and Brayshaw to the back flank. Tomlinson got beaten one on one by Chol too many times when I think McDonald wouldn't have been beaten as easily and it allows the inform Mitch.Brown to come in as the 7th forward. He would be getting a game at any other club with his form ATM except us but if we make a little adjustment and dropped Tomlinson and put McDonald to CHB Mitch.Brown could get his chance.
  25. I watched the game. Firstly what a great win by Casey. Didn't really have a bad player on the ground, Weideman and Rosman were average but that's about it. The 5 day break doesn't really help the Casey players knocking on the door. I think either Hibbo or Lever will replace Hunt and the sub will be Bedford again and the emergencies will be M.Brown, Hunt and Dunstan.
