  1. Can he play ruck or more importantly is he an upgrade on Fullerton? Fullerton can't ruck hopefully Derkson can do a better job.
  2. Hunter being sign for 2025 has stuffed up my list management. 4 draft picks 3 midfielders and a CHB. An experienced ruck during the trade period. B: Lever, May, McVee HB: Rivers, McDonald, Salem C: Windsor, Pick 5, Langdon HF: Petracca, Petty, Chandler F: Fritsch, van Rooyen, Turner FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Moniz-Wakefield, Sparrow, Tholstrup, McAdam, Melksham Casey B: Howes, Adams, Brown HB: Bowey, Draft pick, Woewodin C: Billings, Laurie, Hunter HF: Spargo, Kentfield, Sestan F: Yze, Jefferson, Fullerton FOLL: Trade, Draft pick, Draft pick IC: Mentha, Verrall SUS: Pickett
  3. Rubbish. Hawthorn have been on the bottom for a while. It's drafting that has put them up there. Geelong picked up Cameron that's it if not for him they would be near the bottom.
  4. I don't know why Roffey had to fall on her own sword when it's Goodwin that should have. The club has had a million and one controversies and Goodwin hasn't taken responsibility for any of it. If we hadn't won a premiership he'd be gone. Another year like this and he has to go.
  5. I think trade period is overrated anyway. How many great trade deals are done every year. 1 or 2 the rest are ordinary. We got May but we lost Hogan, we got Lever and lost 2 first rounds we were on the bottom then so that helped. We got Langdon for a second rounder a real win. Tomlinson was a dud free agent. Hunter we got for a low pick and gave us 1 good year. Billings a low pick he given us nothing. McAdam for a second rounder has been a flop. Schache was always a terrible choice never played a good game in his life never should have had 2 years on the list. I just hope we find an experienced ruckman at trade period that's willing to spend most of his time at Casey. We have to draft our way out of this mess not trade our way out of it.
  6. I still think we can make the finals. Freo are beatable if we can't beat Freo then we are in trouble. We don't have enough good players Hore has been quiet the last 2 weeks but is easily our best player. Mackin and McNamara are good wingman, Gillard is a gun. Goldrick and Heath try but the rest have to have a good hard look at themselves. Purcell injury hurts we have no depth in the midfield. Pearce is one of the premier ruckman in the league huge loss and Harris is a big body that we are missing. Hanks last 2 years have been ordinary. Bannan and Zanker are so frustrating so much talent but when they are off they are really off. Fitzsimon is not up to AFW standard and so is Mithen so overrated I'd trade her does nothing week in week out.
  7. I'm hoping it will be an experienced ruck through the trade period tbh.
  8. I hope they don't have a sub next year and go with 5 on the bench.
  9. It's hard to see Hore get a contract with Sestan getting one. We only have 1 rookie spot left unless they decide to use the full amount of rookies and less fully contracted players which will be 1 more rookie. Brayshaw got replaced by a rookie in Kentfield, so I suppose they will keep it the same unless we decide to go for the least amount of rookies which means we will have no rookie spots left. I think Yze will take the last rookie spot not including Mentha as a cat B rookie and Hore will be without a home again. B: Lever, May, McVee HB: Salem, McDonald, Rivers C: Windsor, Pick 5, Langdon HF: Petracca, Petty, Chandler F: Fritsch, van Rooyen, Turner FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Moniz-Wakefield, Sparrow, Tholstrup, McAdam, Melksham Casey B: Howes, Adams, Draft pick HB: Bowey, Draft pick, Woewodin C: Billings, Laurie, Brown HF: Spargo, Kentfield, Sestan F: Yze, Jefferson, Fullerton FOLL: Draft pick, Draft pick, Draft pick IC: Mentha, Verrall SUS: Pickett I think we will have 6 draft picks but that will be less when we go through free agency and trade period.
  10. Hore will want to bounce back this week after being tagged out of the game last week. Mackin has been in sensational form. Best team B: Heath, Colvin HB: Paxman, Gillard, Chaplin C; McNamara, Purcell, Mackin HF: Mithen, Harris, Bannan F: Pisano, Zanker FOLL: Pearce, Hanks, Hore IC: Lampard, Beasley, Fitzsimon, Goldrick, Campbell With Purcell, Harris and Pearce out it's going to be a tough ask to beat North. Possible team B: Heath, Colvin HB: Paxman, Gillard, Chaplin C; McNamara, Lampard, Mackin HF: Mithen, Zanker, Bannan F: Pisano, Gall FOLL: Campbell, Hanks, Hore IC: Beasley, Fitzsimon, Goldrick, Wotherspoon, Watt
  11. Some of them, will be rookie picks.
  12. Plays 1 game out of every 20 no thanks.
  13. I think our main priority is to pick up a ruckman like Fort or Moyle. If we could get a few depth midfielders like Robertson or Brodie that would be a bonus.
  14. I put in a round 1 team so no Pickett don't know why people are putting him in the side.
  15. It's pick 5
  16. Where's this coming from. That would be a huge blow having both Pickett and Petracca out.
  17. I forgot Woewodin B: Lever, May, McVee HB: Salem, McDonald, Rivers C: Windsor, Pick 5, Langdon HF: Petracca, Petty, Chandler F: Fritsch, van Rooyen, Turner FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Moniz-Wakefield, Sparrow, Tholstrup, McAdam, Melksham Casey B: Howes, Adams, Draft pick HB: Bowey, Draft pick, Woewodin C: Billings, Laurie, Brown HF: Spargo, Kentfield, Draft pick F: Yze?, Jefferson, Fullerton FOLL: Draft pick, Draft pick, Draft pick IC: Mentha?, Verrall SUS: Pickett I don't agree with Picket that Jefferson will play. The club wants stability in the forwafrd line. It has to be Petty, Turner and van Rooyen. While McDonald is at CHB Petty will be CHF.
  18. B: Lever, May, McVee HB: Salem, McDonald, Rivers C: Windsor, Pick 5, Langdon HF: Petracca, Petty, Chandler F: Fritsch, van Rooyen, Turner FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Moniz-Wakefield, Sparrow, Tholstrup, McAdam, Melksham Casey B: Howes, Adams, Draft pick HB: Bowey, Draft pick, Draft pick C: Billings, Laurie, Brown HF: Spargo, Kentfield, Draft pick F: Yze?, Jefferson, Fullerton FOLL: Draft pick, Draft pick, Draft pick IC: Mentha?, Verrall SUS: Pickett I'll revisit this after the trade period.

  20. If they played for him they would want to still be around but they don't. The club is rotten to the core and Goodwin has to take responsibility. He and the board that wants him there need to be given the sack. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
  21. No one wants to play for him. Trac, Kossie, Nibbler. The fish rotts at the head. Goodwin has to fall on his own sword.
  22. Get pick 5. Go Saints
  23. It's probably a blessing in disguise he's a quality player but not worth 2 first rounders and our backline isn't the problem it's our midfield and forward line that are a problem recruit players there. I like the sound of Membrey in our forward line quality player but I don't know how old he is? Hopefully we can get Port's first round pick which will be in the teens for Neal-Bullen add pick 6 and we could go up the order with those 2 picks. Go with the kids.
  24. Heart and soul player hard to replace. If we were to lose him I'd say unless we get Houston in the deal you must stay.
