McDonald is not done and is a better backman than Petty. Rivers maybe but it's going to be hard for him to come back in. Doubt Petty is best 23 playing second ruck ATM I think we can do better.

He will throw our pay structure out to greatly. Not necessarily May and Petracca are out. He can take their pay cheques McDonald will play for longer than you think and we have Disco and Petty can't get a game down back. I think we are fine down back. We can always draft for a key back just because it looks like Adams hasn't made it doesn't mean there are no key defenders in the draft.

As long as we don't fall down the ladder we will be getting Butters no need for anyone else.

Petracca didn't get a top 5 pick. I'd say a top 5 pick would be better than 3 picks in the top 15.

You realize that all these teams have no picks below the compensation pick and there is no way he's going to Richmond he wants a flag Richmond are a basket case.

Not necessarily I've changed the team and put Rivers in it. Controversually because Culley has done nothing wrong. You don't want to get injured at Melbourne they may not have a spot left in the team as I think Rivers will find out. Fritsch will come in for Laurie that's obvious, but Bowey and Viney will sruggle to get a spot in that team. I think Bowey can get back in once he finds fitness but I doubt Viney is best 23 and that's not including who they want as the second ruck. Do they want van Rooyen? Do they want Kentfield? or do they want Petty? It's very hard to pick a side ATM as we are playing good footy I don't envy them one bit.

If things keep on going the way they are Butters will be at Melbourne next year. Port say they can match it but when it comes to the crunch they won't. They will be will be bottom 4 or 5 anyway so they will get a pick after their first pick.

Kentfield could do a better job.

Only 6 touchs no goals dropped a mark. Has had a poor year. I doubt we can get goals out of Petty, but we can get goals out of Kentfield. Unlike Johnson and Jefferson he can kick, Jefferson and Johnson let themselves down with their kicking. If they all have dirty days you could get 1 or 2 goals from Kentfield like van Rooyen he's a good kick but Jefferson and Johnson will stray them.

I've chosen my Casey team for 2 weeks time against Brisbane expecting there would be no change to the side that should beat Essendon easily. This weeks senior team has Kentfield and Fritsch in and Petty and Laurie out. What a win really proud of the boys. Gawn is the best ever Melbourne player by a mile never plays a bad game and Steele is the recruit of the year been fantastic. I haven't seen many better performances by the dees in this game. We have a winnable 3 game patch, Essendon, Brisbane at home and Richmond. We could be 6 and 1 I didn't think we would be this good, most people had us bottom 4.

The middle is a worry especially with Laurie not playing. Port Adelaide V West Coast Port are as ordinary as Carlton it would be interesting to see who wins that game. West Coast are finally showing something, about time they have been on the bottom forever.

I don't know if that's the answer but they have to stop the byes. Just because the VFL have always played 18 games doesn't mean it should continue 23 games it should be just like the AFL.

That's a shame would love to see him play but the reason why they don't want to rush him is they don't want another key forward if that's the case I can see Matthews debuting as the small forward for team balance. Matthews in for Cross, Rivers in for Jiath and Turner in for Petty. I think it will be too much of a risk to play Melksham with his knee the way it is.
