  1. Tigers have reasonably good users, Carlton’s kicking is awful
  2. Blues won their GF
  3. Why were Bayley’s dogs eating at Entrecôte anyway…
  4. So do we assume Lukers knee is fine, or it is currently being regrown in a lab?
  5. Howes is the only one that comes to mind. But it’s a gulf in talent and physical attributes
  6. Only one good performance a year for Gather Round. They will thump us
  7. Dees look slick. Hopefully we can reset the Saints expectations and turnaround a massive 3/4 time deficit to win with a Windsor kick after the siren
  8. Did he have the scans done in Ballarat? If so, and from my experience of the health system here, we might not have results till Friday
  9. Very humid and hot in Ballarat today. Rain will likely miss us as is often the case, but it will be a sticky match
  10. 4:10 start. Taking my 7 year old daughter out of school to watch Kos. What a time to be alive!
  11. I honestly think the pure inside mid is like a dodo bird.. unless you have elite running capacity or speed, just being an inside plodder is not enough these days. Agree he will play some good games, but hopefully not against us.
  12. Kicked in the finger. He is fine
  13. While the North Ballarat Ground won’t be fully upgraded and there is limited seating, I can confirm the surface is immaculate and if rain holds off, will be a good spectacle both at the ground and on TV. Locals will turn up and support, even if their team isn’t playing. On a side note, I remember the Dees used to do a training camp to Ballarat years ago. Russell Robertson came to the park hotel as part of a PR tour. I was a teenage kid at the time. Lovely bloke, spent 20 minutes talking, he ate my garlic bread and half my chips and left.
  14. He, Chandler, Pickett x2 is a nice mix of dynamic small forwards.
  15. If you head around the Ballarat Ring Road and turn left at the 1st exit. You will drive along Creswick Road. You can park next to the stadium on Creswick Rd, or go left onto Howitt St and there is parking options there. Max walk of about 300m
  16. Kentfields ruck work was great, I’d say he is a perfect 2nd ruck/ forward. He jumps well and times his leap. Dare I say it, he could be a Pederson type ‘Mr Fixit’
  17. Hearing Gawn talk post origin about the advantages that guys like De Koning have over the older, less athletic types- makes me feel that Kalani’s development will be super important to us. We need someone with pure jumping power to get up and over the opposition ruckman. He is still a while off, but really hope he can get his body to a point to handle the workload and take over the number 1 ruck spot next year or beyond
  18. Green is still a dog!
  19. Riv is not a great kick. Not sure he is our midfield star of the future
  20. Koz will be the best player in the comp this year. Seen enough
  21. Wow. Genuinely gobsmacked. I assumed with the acts playing and commercials it would be a long break to fit in production.
  22. I don’t watch NFL and certainly didn’t see the show, but as a genuine question, how long does the half time show go for? Assume it is 1 hour plus. What do we expect the players to do during this time, walk up to Russell Street for dumplings to fill in time?
  23. Bowey is a fantastic creator and link up player and had a huge year. I see he and Salem playing a similar role, but we still lack the lock down defender to play on dangerous smalls. For me Bowey struggles to play this role and is best on a less dangerous small. Hoping AMW can be this player this year.
