If you look closely you can see the GC player is squeezing Viney’s plums.

The GC player was pulling Viney in, the only way Viney could separate himself and gain some purchase was to instinctively put his arm down and accidentally push off the player on the grounds throat. Additionally, from the angle I saw it from, it appeared Viney’s elbow was in contact with the other players shoulder, therefore most of the force and weight would have been on that part of the player and not his throat. Case closed, I call for one of those dismissal thingy’s your Honour.

Hopefully the player who was copping it says there wasn’t much force to it. If that was Selwood doing what Viney did he’d be called courageous.

Suicide itself will always be taboo. The stigma around mental health issues and the thoughts of suicide that can accompany those MH issues should not though. It’s a sad story but the more people, in particular young men, who come out and talk about these issues the better for all. All the power to Majak.

Apparently I’m a maths wizard but only in my sleep. Anyway, I think we’ll actually win this one easily. Bulldogs hero Ugly-Hogan to be held to just the one possession. Brown will kick 52 of the 87 goals.

I think changing certain things to be able to beat the bottom teams would be much easier than finding a way to beat the top teams. Not a bad situation to be in. It’s crazy that we’re half a game on top at round 18 and people are still so concerned.
