The difference the pies & cats are contending and managed to get those fwds our young drafted players are great but our premiership clock is gone & didn't capitalise

The question is what’s stopped the club from attracting exp fwds, is it cap space are the big contracts to trac, Oliver etc or our culture issues which stopped Houston from coming

I can’t remember our last power fwd we drafted or traded …. Neitz retired in 08, Hogan looked the part but took off with off field issues, had a chance to get him back, BB we got 6 month injury free won a flag but not a huge pwr fwd, Jvr is rucking to help Max, every other club has one , bottom line we don’t!

Had plenty of mates who missed from closer, I think Max has given a lot & pushed us over the line , it’s time others stepped up

Don’t disagree & are the reasons why haven’t been able to trade in any key fwds due to cap pressure? Were our picks used to get players like Windsor , Langdon , Lyndsey, Mcvee, when u kick 7.14 it dosent help, Oliver is struggling yet on a Long contract which I hate as club is locked in, Jvr development impeded by having to play ruck? I thought Turner was a fwd option yet played defender with petty & melksham out. Goodwin locked in and too much to payout.

Petty has been a fwd for the last 4-5 games & lever hast played most of the season, Turner would have been a better option… we are at sea in the fwd line

As expected our fwd line is a mess! Not sure why Turner was playing defender and not played fwd??? Either Jvr has lost fwd craft or Goodwin has confused the kid playing him ruck! How Jefferson is getting a game another bottom 4-6 finish yet this club hadn’t been able to trade in any key fwds since 2021

Spot on it’s as I thought, Pert our last CEO was part of 2 premierships and increase memberships and profitable clubs. Yet we have gone with a CEO with zip football club experience

The current CEOs of other clubs in particular the the bigger ones in Vic what’s their background & afl experience..

Agree home base has to be nailed! But a CEO role covers all aspects of the footy dept which this guy has had zero exposure & understanding, will he understand strong culture in footy clubs what it looks like Eg Peter Jackson come in & fixed things fast as he had great insights etc etc.. hope I’m wrong but…..

Reminds of the Paul Macnamee appointment! Why would we want to appoint anyone with A CEO Football background??? Hope I’m wrong but I can see this going pear shape!
