Why would anyone want a player that would prefer to play for Freo. He obviously has more important things in his life than football and that is obvious. He is a sublime talent but his head is not on the footy field.

OK just for a moment stop to consider why we are trading, what is our goal? If we think that replacing Hogan for May is a bad deal because Hogan is a better player we are missing the big picture. If we have 3 Hogans & no Mays and our aim is not to have the most talented side but to win premierships we do the deal. So a win at the trade table means our side becomes better & we have a better chance to win a flag. If we can make our side better we do the deal, forget 23 & 30 vs 15 or 5 vs 8 & 11 or Hogan vs May KK 23. If Hogan out enables us to be better we win.

King Ding this team at the MFC that you think are doing such a lousy job got our team into a preliminary final this year. Forget smoke screens Freo have been lying. They are liars and not to be trusted. They have been spreading lies regardless of cost to reputations of others. For the life of me I cannot understand why Hogan wants to go there, unless there is something we don't know.

Because the holder of pick 5 at that point may want to use it themselves. Or if they really want it the price could keep going up maybe 8 +13 + who knows what.

Because there would be no value to us trading at that point - can't get May. My understanding (could be wrong) is that player trades will be closed before live trades start.

Freo & Bell are a mess. Do they think that telling lies will help them? Why would Hogan want to go there?
