Time to start? What the hell were they trying to do the last 7 years

It just looks like we are only trying to replace what we lost rather then really build on what we had. I'm sure Roos and the boys are doing their best but so far we don't have a better then this year.

I really want to just unleash on this thread but I'm pretty sure what I want to say would get me a Demonland holiday so I'll just shut my mouth... Unless the admins are cool with it?

So far I think we have lost far more then we have gained. Really sweating on getting the draft right for us to improve next year

I was referring to both having recurring complications to the injury if which ended Egan career and I fear could do the same to Jack. Fairly obvious Jack did not try to get back for a grand final.

That's why ladder position is so important. Its debatable that how much of a loss Buddy actually was to the Hawks, they did win a premiership without him. A top team full of star players isn't going to suffer as much as a bottom team like us who have only a handful of star quality players. Losing arguably our best defender hurts us a lot more then Hawthorne losing Franklin. Same goes for any bottom 4 team losing a star player to free agency. Bottom teams get top picks and better free agent compensation.

What would Brisbane know about free agency compensation? Their players don't want to stay there long enough to be come free agents!
